Okay, I just reported it to SU headquarters. I also am reporting it to the moderators, because THEY MENTION SPLITCOAST IN THEIR AD???? Nervy, for sure!

Obviously SU doesnt have the pull or the power that Kate Spade has.
When I first started selling on ebay..a few years ago.....I would do a lot of garage sales (before the price of gas went up) and I found a brand new Kate Spade, white with cherries purse. I was sooooooooooo excited. It was an older man and he was asking 25.00. I asked him if he would take 10 he said 15.00. I grabbed it, went home, took pictures and listed it. Within 10 hours my auction was pulled saying I couldnt sell that purse. I was new and didnt know why..but thought maybe I listed it wrong? So I re-listed it and it was pulled with a warning if I listed it again I would be banned from selling on ebay. I found out it wasnt a Kate Spade purse :( bummer but I can't believe how fast Kate Spade had my auction off ebay.
Obviously SU just doesnt care enough about the demos that wait and do things by the book. That sucks. JMHO

SU loves their hobby demos, but many of these don't ever read the manual.
Once a violation of this nature is reported, SU does contact *bay compliance and get the ad pulled. The demonstrator's contract with SU is cancelled - permanently. They might be placed on probation by *bay.
There are consequences to bad behavior, and any cop will tell you that ignorance of the law is no excuse. Of course, citizens are crucial to help with the controls, so posts like this are necessary...

Sorry about your listing! I know they are VERY strict about selling fakes as real. (You didn't know and they should have told you when the listing was pulled) My guess is a fellow ebay seller or shopper reported you. I think the "fake" reports go to the top of the list?
here is a question what if you buy a stamp set and dont like it, are you able to sell it or do you have to wait till its retired, i think if i bought it and not happy with it i should be able to make my money back.
as long as i am not a demo, i have the right to sell it correct?

Yes, if you are not a demo you may sell it. It is only demo's who are not allowed to sell current items except out of the catalog per the demo agreement.
The set in question is not available for purchase yet. It is from the soon to be released catalog. We (customers) should all be getting our catalogs any day now. Demos may have gotten them this weekend at convention. Demos were able to buy some sets (maybe they had the choice of 4 soon to be released dsets) for sneak peeks, but this set has not been made available to the public yet.
Splitcoast has a rule that current sets may not be sold at SCS. You can sell a current set at ebay.
How do you report an item? Does DS just want the item number or the seller? Does anyone know what Stampin' Up does once they get this information? Do they just try to get the auction pulled? How do they know it's a demo and not just a customer?
I was shocked to see several of the preorder sets available only to demos listed. That really sucks!
If it's current, and you're a demo, you can trade it. If you aren't a demo you can sell it but apparently not at SCS.
My understanding is that SCS doesn't let anyone sell current items because it would be a logistical nightmare for them to try to keep track of who is a demo and who isn't. If they just make a unilateral "no selling current sets" that applies to everyone, the mods in the BST Forum can tell right away if a sale listing is ok.
You have all done a great job of bringing this to the attention of the right people. I just searched ebay and the auctions have been pulled. They only thing i could find was a card kit made using the new sock monkey stamp.
It's a shame that so many are willing to break the rules. I am a new demo and i appreciate you looking out for demos.
It wasn't actually 'pulled', the seller must have been contacted and agreed to end the auction. It shows up in completed auctions....when an auction is pulled, there is no trace of it, even in completed auctions.
And Stampin' Up has the policy of not reselling current items, not Ebay, so Ebay will not end an auction unless it violates it's own policy. Ie: Fake items, etc.
Stampin' Up can terminate demos for failing to comply, but they can't end the auctions. Ebay will not investigate who is and who is not a demo...but there are ways for SU to find out. If someone sells a lot of stuff for instance, SU can actually buy ONE item, and check the return address on it against their list of Demos.
These demos who just do one thing here and there, probably will never get caught...I see that seller actually had stolen the pic from another seller...which is probably why it was ended. Just my guess.
