It figures! I could have held my money for another month. I ordered from Spellbinders themselves and from 7 kids. Oh well, they probably think the delay will raise the hype but all it does is tick me off :( At least when I emailed Spellbinders this week about that very thing they could have emailed me back. They are 3 miles from my house too. Sheesh!

Believe me, I'm disapointed too!
If you ordered directly from Spellbinders, they don't charge your card for the dies until they are shipped.
I work for the company and I just got word yesterday that they are being delayed, I would guess they were holding off answering your email, along with others they have received, until they had a firm answer for you. Believe me, this doesn't raise hype, only frustration, if they could control the situation the dies would be in your hands now.
For the person that asked if the Wizards are being shipped, yes they are.
O.K. thank you for letting me know. You are right about not being charged until they ship because I checked and saw that. I'll just wait and know that it will be worth it
I feel like I have been on the preorder list forever! Hard to wait another month, isn't it? I keep thinking of projects on which some of these dies would be so perfect, and I think what makes it even harder to wait are those wonderful design team examples!
I'm so tired of this....When all these companies go to the Cha shows and show off their products and the consumer gets all excited for the products. Then we get "oh you will have to pre-order,you pre-order and was told they will be here a certain time, and then all of a sudden you wait another two or three months." Before you have your product, the companies are already talking about the Winter cha show and the new products. By the time we get our "new" products from the Summer cha show, they aren't so new. I wish these companies that go to these cha shows would already have their products ready at the show case and warehouses, so us consumers can have the product that they show at the cha shows. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I pre-ordered mine from Marco's Papers and they don't charge your cc till your order is sent to you.
Tired of the hype and the cha shows, cause the products they show there aren't ever ready. And when you finally do get the product you want after waiting...Are they really that new after all. Cause by the time you get your product, here comes the "new cha winter show".
Sigh and very grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

P.S. My dh said "if they would manufacture all these products in house..."USA".... everyone would be getting their products faster and also safer". Talk about all the new jobs for everyone out there who is hurting right now cause of the economy.

on another forum they are saying that if you have a Cricut the Storybook cartridge has all the scalloped shapes and you can cut them in all the sizes...plus it has a shape like the top note die! This was awesome to hear...I went to Ebay and purchased the cartridge right away...only paid $26.99 plus 6.95 s/h. Great Deal...Just wanted to share that with any of you that might have a Cricut.
Blessings.
Well, that stinks. I plan on using one of the new Nestabilities sets for my Christmas cards. I guess I'll just have to get the other parts of the card done now, so when I finally do get the Nestabilities it will just be a matter of cutting and assembling. Thanks for the heads up!

I know one thing is for sure...I'm going to get a "lead kit".
Dh had asked me about all the Spellbinders dies that I have invested over the years if they are lead free? Dh said "if they can get away with it like they did with the children's toys, but to get caught yrs later...How about your craft stuff". I never thought of my dies that I have and the paint that is used on them.
Any who...I to was going to use my new dies for Christmas cards...I think I will just start making them now, so I can be ahead of the game. It's hard to be patient, and at my age it's worse...lol

I agree. They shouldn't present it at CHA until it's in hand. I also agree that it would be great to have these items made in the USA I know I would pay more money for them as a result.
