We recently got these in at the LSS where I work. We tried them in the CB and the emboss wasn't very deep--definitely not like the CB embossing folders, but those were made for the CB machine. I bet the SB ones work well in the Wizard. HTH.

I used these with my Big Shot the same way I use brass templates (with an extra piece of thin cardboard) and they looked phenomenal!!! If anyone is interested, I will post a pic...
Myt friend bought all of them. We used them in her Big SHot-but you do need a sandwich along with the Nestie rubber embossing pad to get a good impression..info from their their site (I think) explained how you can also cut them apart to emboss where ever you would like. We didn't try that but might be a nice effect. Cuttlebug is still my first choice! HTH!
I just bought one the other day and i'm rather unimpressed with it. It didn't leave a very deep or crisp image. I have the snowflake one and when pressed they resembled flowers more than snowflakes. I used it to sponge colour on as well thinking that would bring the images more into focus. It did but i really am not a person who likes stenciling so i probably won't do that again.
I find the trickiest thing about them tho is that they are VERY fragile. Just putting in down to place the paper on I somehow hooked one of the snowflakes on my sleeve and bent it back. The edges of the design are very sharp and catch on material/skin easily i found. I love everything else spellbinder has come out with but will not be purchasing any of the other impressibilities.

I agree Kristy,
I just bought the snowflake one yesterday and spent forever trying different sandwich stacks but could not acheive anything like a CB EF. I'm so disappointed. hopefully i'll find another use for it!

I do not have these but I am guessing that one of the great benefits is that you can use it also as a stencil to chalk or sponge the embossed image. Which would be really cool provided you can get a good embossed image.
I tried it in the Wizard and it was not deep like the CB embossing folders. What sandwich did you use for the impressibilities in the CB? I have a friend that just cannot get any impression.
Any time you need a deeper emboss, you can try one or both of these ideas:
1. Add a cardstock shim or two to the "sandwich." Adding thickness will increase the pressure applied to the embossing folder/plate.
2. Mist the paper with water, alcohol, or a mixture of water & alcohol. The reason some people prefer alcohol is because it dries quicker, which reduces the risk of warping the paper.
Great tutorial, thanks for linking to it! I was on the fence about whether I wanted to get these or not, but after reading through it, I'm guessing I "need" to add these to my collection.
I am not going to buy them...I would be disappointed with anything that doesnt do the job of the regular A2 embossing folders and as easily....I have just recently purchased the Quickutz A2 folder but not tried them yet...These have some really pretty designs too. blessings.

I understand where you are coming from, because that was my position until recently! ;) There were two things that changed my mind about the Impressibilities. One was the ablity to cut them apart and place the parts-and-pieces any place you choose on your paper. The second reason was that they don't have an outside folder edge to leave a mark on the paper when you use them -- the only are that makes an impression on the paper is the image itself. (Sort of like no-line panties, if you get my analogy! ;)).
I am going to be wise and only buy one of them to start with and then if I like the design flexibility, I'll order the others. At least they are not hideously expensive, like some of my ill-advised stamp related purchases have been!
I never get a folder mark on the outside...just lucky I guess...could also be that I always mat my cardfront and so only emboss 4 x 5.25 and it fits perfectly. I dont have a desire to cut them apart so I am good....
