Me too! I am thrilled . The fact you get two designs for each folder is a bonus.

All of my cards are 5" x 7" and the embossing folders on the market are nearly all 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" . Most of the small ones are designed so you can't emboss part of the card and then move the embossing folder to finish . Either the designs are Portrait and can't be done landscape or the design edges don't line up. :(
Hearts laying on their sides look foolish

We have asked Sizzix and Provo craft to offer 5" x 7" embossing folders, Spellbinders was not selling embossing folders at the time. Provo Craft did offer a few of them, but most are in sets were you have to buy the small ones to get the big ones. If we wanted the small ones we would not be asking for the larger ones.
At least Spellbinders heard us!

Yeah! I have only one embossing folder. A big reason I chose it was because it was 5"x7". I want the option of making small and large cards and I don't want to have to buy a lot of extras to do it.

I really like the deep embossing in the examples. Spellbinders had some other embossing tool, but friends complained that the embossing wasn't deep enough to show up well on the cards. But these look beautiful! I just hope they don't cost twice as much because they are double sided--especially if I like only one of the designs.

I think they are priced fairly considering you get two designs.
It looks like the large set of "two" designs will be $10 and the small set will be $8 at full price .
Considering the small size for Sizzix with SU is $8 ( plus shipping) for one and the regular price for the Cuttlebug 5" x 7" ones are $7 for one designs . It is $18 when you have to buy a set, (which I refuse to do), just to get one large folder

And there are always coupons

The designs I have seen so far look very versatile. They can go Portrait or Landscape depending on the layout of your card.

I hope they come out with 5" x7" in a wood grain pattern, one with small tools ( screws, hammer, etc) and one with fish for male cards LOL

The Spellbinder embossing impressabilities are thin metal and give a very light emboss. I think they work better for stenciling or a light letterpress affect. I don't think they were every meant for deep embossing.

There are some cuttlebug 5x7 folders that can be purchased individually.

Provocraft-Cuttlebug - Embossing Folders - 5x7

I do wonder how folders with a design on both sides will hold up over long use.

Thanks so much for posting this information and I'll certainly be on the lookout for these! I think it's genius that they've come with a double-sided folder. And now there are more designs to add to my stash of embossing folders, which I can never get enough of.

When are these M Bossabilities supposed to be coming out? I see they are available for pre-order. When will they ship?

I just got this from Marco's paper. He is offering 20% off AND free shipping on the pre-orders. Says they will be in in February
Here is the message

Spellbinders Paper Arts - January 2012 CHA Releases - Marco's Paper

Great store to do business with! When I lived in Ohio I shopped there all the time. Since I moved back to Wisconsin I have mail ordered from them
Sign up for their emails . He usually offers free shipping on new Spellbinders and maybe other things. I say he because it is a one owner store

I am very excited about these embossing folders. I hope they end up at JoAnn's or Michaels so I can use a coupon. There are even a couple of new die that I think are pretty and I love that they are 8" rather than just 5". (I wish they were 12").
