Default Spellbinders Card Creator

So as not to Hijack Ready, Set, Craft's post, which card creator set should I get to cut card fronts for A2 cards? I can't tell if I should get the A or B set, and I can only afford to get one at this time. I don't mind a small border around the front of the card, but I plan on using a white card base, so I would want it to be as small as possible.

Hi there!

Found a video on youtube that gives a visual on what the card looks like using only 1 set and what it looks like when you combine them. If the links do not work the first is by Christina Griffiths Title is Spellbinder Matting Basics

The 2nd is Angel Crafts Title How to use Spellbinders Card Creator (also shows other dies but I think she only used Set A on her demo card)

Hope this helps

I have them both and find myself using the B set the most, but the A set has the largest rectangle (4 1/8 x 5 3/8 ). (and I was one of those who thought that buying dies to make rectangles was ridiculous ... and it's probably one of my most used dies, lol!)

I know! I just made a card today, using the Stampin Up large letters framelits. It was easy to line up the letters on a larger cut base, then used my Spellbinders die to center the word perfectly and cut. It would have been a pain to do with my paper cutter, and would have most likely ruined it.

Me too, I'm frequently reaching for my card creator basic sets! I think purchasing both A & B sets was well worth it, but then I like having 1/8" and 1/4" nesting options.
