I have been following the sneak peaks of the new dies that Spellbinders will be revealing at 2012 CHA in a few weeks. I WANT THEM ALL!! I think my favorite so far is the new Card Creator- it is on the top of my "new" wish list. I also love the new Majestic Element - the intricate embossing is right up my alley! The new Shapeablities Expandable Patters are AWESOME - especially the lattice die - I love anything lattice.
Has anyone else been following the sneak peaks? What are your favorites so far?
I tried to send this message twice earlier from my smart phone & for some reason it wouldn't let me, but to answer you I'd go directly to the source, Spellbinders blog here:
They are showing new dies, videos and projects by 3 designers each day -- enjoy!!!
My FAVs so far are the Card Creator dies, today's Christmas ones, Samantha Walker's and Botanical Swirls & Accents, but I rarely see a Spellbinders' die I don't just LOVE!!! ;)
You can still qualify until midnight (I believe) for Day Four's drawing & for today's Day Five -- go check them out!
Spellbinders has a select few of the new dies ready now for purchase. The holiday tree highlight yesterday is in stock. The sets available are more season themed. Check their company site or your LSS.

I love the 5" x7" M-Bossibilities !
I bought two of them when they came out in January. Most of my cards are 5" x 7" and with these I don't need to fiddle with the CS trying to line the pattern up in the embossing folder to get a size large enough to fit my card.

The Majestic Elements and the Expanding Patterns really caught my eye this time around. The Card Creator is a great idea but my card fronts are a different size to the US.
The expanding patterns are really great. I especially love the butterfly one she demonstrated in the video. I wonder what machines those will be compatible with.
Almost everything they are introducing is BLOWING. MY. MIND. It's as though they've carefully watched what people have tried doing with their die-cutting/embossing machines (for example, leaving a blank space in the middle of an embossing folder) and then come up with a new product that makes it easy and gorgeous. And layers that correspond to the rectangular shape of an A2 card? Simply brilliant. I don't know who their product developers are, but they are a smart, observant bunch, that's for sure.
I am smitten with the all of the botanical patterns (that triangular piece is awesome), the Card Creator collection, the Expandable patterns, the clever new label/tag die combos... *sigh.* I mean, I always enjoy the new Spellbinders releases, but this time around, there's stuff they're bringing out that I want so bad, it hurts!

Tiffany,
The Shapeabilities Expandable Patterns dies are like all Spellbinders die templates and work in most leading die cut machines. Of course, you can only cut/emboss as big a pattern as your machine will allow.
I see from your blog post, Debbie, that the expandable pattern plates are 8 1/2" by 6". So I guess any machine that can take a 6-inch wide die could be used with these.

Beautiful luminary, by the way!
Thanks, Carol.
The actual Basic Lattice die is 4 1/4 x 6 1/4". But the way the die is on the edges makes it possible to line things up and continue to die cut the pattern across the page with multiple passes. The only limit would be the size of your machine and its plates!! I used the Grand Calibur Junior Size plates (which are 8 1/2 x 6") to make the windows for my luminary. It was easier and quicker to run it thru my Grand Calibur with the smaller plates, kwim?

Oh! Apologies for mis-reading. I must've seen the dimensions of the Junior Size plates (which are a great idea) and in my excitement, jumped to the wrong conclusion. Thank you very much for clarifying!
That's great to know the size of the actual die. I see what you mean that the size of paper cut you could make would only be limited by how large a piece of paper you can put through your machine (oriented one way or the other). I am so excited that this continuous pattern concept is coming out! And I'm a sucker for both the geometric lattice-y type designs AND the graceful butterfly/floral options!!!:!:
Spellbinders has done it again!! I now have 14 new die sets on my MUST HAVE list. We have a stamp show in our area Aug. 18. I've got my fingers crossed that: 1. Scrap-Mart will be there. 2. The new dies will be available.
As I have seen the new dies coming out on amazingpapergrace.com and other sites I am blown away by them. They are intricate and beautiful! And yes, there are many I want like the new Grand Caliber Ovals. Oh my gosh. The square intricate die you will see on the site mentioned above is breathtaking. Stamp Simply is also a great place to see some of the new dies as well as great paper, ribbon, and flowers....and awesome card ideas. Sharon is just superb as a card designer.

Thanks so much! Right now all I have is the original red Sizzix though eventually I will upgrade. Sounds like these will work for me as it is though. Awesome!
Ladies I don't know if this is true or to but I saw a video on cheery Lynn that said someone is bringing out a new a4 sizes electric die cutter.
I really need to get myself an electric one as I use my grand calibur every day but my carpal tunnel in my hands is so bad I often have to wear a support bandage and the pain is deadly.
I can't say who or how but I sort of got the idea it might be from spellbinders and was wondering if it was do you think they would keep it under wraps until the start of the show?
I followed every day of the blog hop and I really love Marvelous squares, Grand ovals, Fancy lattice, Botanicals, Exquisite circles, puzzled effects and Venetian sets
Not much then.lol and that just for starters.
Here in the uk we had the Christmas one on offer 2 weeks ago but I didn't buy any because they sold out so fast and I was still thinking about it.
Hope everyone finds something to get excited about and feed that addiction.lol

Did you see the sneak peek on the Spellbinders blog from this morning? Even bigger M-Bossabilities!!
