The sheets are available on Amazon -- Scor-Pal SPC210 Scor-Tape Sheets, 6 by 6-Inch, 5-Pack -- but if you want to have adhesive on the backs of die-cuts, I suggest you buy a few widths of Sookwang ScorTape and use what you need as you go. The widest I have now is 2-1/2", and I often put it next to narrower widths of ScorTape to cover the area I need when cutting out a die. I sometimes have to put it through the Big Shot more than once, but this system has worked beautifully and with less waste.
You can also purchase these products at Elizabeth Craft Designs (she brands it on her label but it is the very same adhesive; she originally sold it as sookwang). ecraftdesigns.com
I don't think it dulls the dies, but rather the dies accumulate adhesive as they cut through. It's nothing that a little acetone or white meths won't fix in a flash.

I like to use Avon Skin So Soft to remove sticky residue.
scrapbook.com has rolls of their own brand, one is 4" wide and one is 6" wide, both 81 ft long. Both are nearly 50% off right now. I have used their brand and it's fine. I have not used Sookwang or Eliz brand.
I didn't care for the Scrapbook.com brand tape - I don't have the wider ones, but the 1/4" and 1/8" separate from the liner very easily and don't seem as strong as the Sookwang brand. They're not the same.
A couple of the tutorial authors have suggested applying a little glue over the tape before you set it in place - that allows it to wiggle and then gives you extra grip.
