Default So - What about the slit punch? Useful?

Can you tell I'm trying to make up an order? I don't know if I would use this thing very much. How do you use it? ;)

I use mine most to make ticket punch-like corners on things.

Slits to tuck things into (gift cards, photos, layers, matchbook type closures)
To make scalloped edges on cardstock

I have been LOVING using mine to make cards with a little slit in them. See my 'friend' cards in my small gallery. Those have a slit in them, and the front of the card tucks into it. It really is very cute, and you can't beat it for the price!

It has a limited reach, and can only punch in one direction, but for the price, it's a VERY useful punch!

Try doing a search in the gallery, using key words "slit punch" and you will see hundreds of ideas that incorporate its use! If that doesn't enable you, I don't know what else will! LOL! ;)

I love the slit punch! I love making scalloped borders with it by lining it up and punching repeatedly, like in this sample:

Or to make a little tab to tie a ribbon, like this one:

And it is also perfect for making tabs to hold a gift card inside a card.

Get it. You'll love it!
