Restarting this thread...has anyone found nibs that fit to replace the brush side of Stampin' Up! markers? My old style markers are perfectly fine and I've had them over 6 years, but I'm having to replace ALL the new colored ones from a couple years ago. They have plenty of ink, just nibs that break down easily... I'd love to just replace the nibs.

Does anyone know the company that made the older markers? Maybe they sell nib replacements.

you can purchase tips to replace the nibs here; Tip 4 Markers
they even show you directions how to easily refill the core tube inside them on their site here. SU does not recommend this of course but it works really well.

Instead of purchasing another marker...I know you can take the tip out and refill it...but just can't figure out a good way to do it.

Thanks for the help.

I am glad that this company, Tips4markers, has these tips available for our SU Markers. However, I was appalled at how much they overcharged for shipping. I was charged $3.50, and the actual shipping cos was $1.10. I know there is some handling cost too, but I was charged 69% over the actual shipping cost for handling. And they didn't even package in a bubble wrap envelope or wrap in Bubble wrap. Just a plain envelope.

Is there anywhere else where these can be purchased?

I search every now and then and I haven't found anyone else. I get together with my friends and we buy in bulk. I figure the extracost is handling for the envelope, the steps to stick them in an envelope, walk to the mailbox, stop have a cup of coffee.... To justify ordering them I consider that it's still cheaper than buying new markers.

I have a set of storage drawers that have plastic shelf brackets that need to be replaced every couple of years. The shipping was more than the brackets. There was no other source so I ordered a 10 sets just to offset the shipping. Another item that has pricey shipping is buying empty cube stamp pads - shipping is just too high but I do it because I want the cubes.

LOL! You are so right, they surely bought a fine cup of coffee with their profit from their shipping cost on my order! :-) LM

I've buying them here and sometimes the shipping is slow if they are on the road at gourd shows. Shipping is $9.95 for six but if I recall correctly, when buying in bulk the shipping doesn't go up for 12 and if you order 18 the shipping is around $12.

I haven't looked around to see if there are better prices because the last time it all worked out about the same. they are pricey but it is cheaper to buy these than buy multiple sets of our spots. I do wish SU would offer empty spots in foam and felt.

Their marker decisions this year have really mystified me! I'd like to see them offering replacement tips themselves. Seems to me we shouldn't have to search far and wide for something so basic.
