I found some Smooch paint and Smooch Clear Snap on clearance at Michaels and decided to buy them cause the price seemed right ($3.99 vs $9.99). I've never used these producsts before and am now second guessing my purchase and am on the fence about returning them - I'm trying hard to stop impulse buying ;) . Smooch hasn't really been out that long and since it's on clearance already I'm guessing it hasn't gone over all that well with the consumer.
Does anyone have samples of cards that they've used these products on? I'd like to get an idea of what sort of effects I might get if I opt to keep them.
I got the white and gold paint that comes in a nail polish dispening bottle and the Carrot Cake, Sun kissed, Tea Party and Woodstain Clear Snap that comes in small tube spritzing bottles.
Thanks for any feedback anyone has to offer on these products.
It sounds like the ones you got were like the ones that our store had in for the holidays and they had some for Valentine's Day too.. they clearanced a bunch of it. I didn't buy any because I had no clue how to use it.. Thanks for posting the link to a tutorial Sharong.. I'm heading there to check it out.
blessings ~ Pam

I adore the Smooch Accent ink... examples all over my blog, if you want to see! I use it constantly! The Illuminate one is my hands-down favorite because it just adds sparkle and no color. I use the Gold Lame' one to make gilt edges on things.
The spritzer bottle ones take practice--be sure you really know the direction and intensity of the spray, correct distance from project, etc, before you just go spraying : ) It's gorgeous, but it does take practice. I tend to go with the lighter shades because of that.

I love using smooch to make clouds on brayer technique cards....
You can use it to highlight areas of water colored images, and DSP as well.
Hope this helps!
Just lovely, Sharon... my brayer and I don't get along nearly as well as you and yours!
