Question Silhouette Cheat sheet???

Sorry I know this should be under the Silhouette heading but I dont know how to get it there
with the title.....kinda new @ posting here.
My question is does anyone have cheat sheat for the blade depths and for what media it works best for? I know it has a test cut and all but I am getting a little concerned since there is a new machine out that says it takes the guessing out of all of this (which I am sure is not perfect but not so much guessing) so it kinda has me wondering if I asked for the correct machine for christmas....

Thanks for all of your help!!

When you click on the send to Silhouette tab, the cutting screen comes up on the right of the mat. There it tells you the settings for all the media type...just scroll through the media types and it tells you which blade depth to use for that particular media. Making sense? I just got mine, too and so far I have used the default settings for all my cutting and haven't had a problem. HTH

You might want to check FaceBook-there are alot of Silhouette Groups with great info. Karin has a settings list on https://www.facebook.com/groups/SilhouetteNewbies/. You request an invite and she will add you. LOTS of info!! HTH!

So I upgraded to the latest software--I have Designer Edition. Now when I click "send to Silhouette" I can select the type of paper I'm using but it doesn't tell me blade settings! Help!?!

I had trouble finding it at first, as well. But, once you select the type of paper, then the blade setting info should appear right below that, under Editing Cardstock. HTH
