Cool Sewing on paper?

I love the look of sewing done on journals and such. Any suggestions on brands I should consider??

I believe many people recommend the Janome Sew Mini, as shown in the tutorial here: Sewing On Cards Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers

I use a Silvercrest from LIDL, which is similar to ALDI. They occasionally do Singers on special offer, but that's not what they had when I made the decision to purchase one specifically for cards. And I'm perfectly happy with it.

I imagine they're all capable (mine is a Janome too, but a different model) - the best 'tip' is to keep a sharp needle - and I keep one dedicated to paper since paper dulls the needles so fast.

Ditto on everything Dina shared!
I do have a sewing machine for fabrics, but have long-enjoyed having the smaller, portable Janome dedicated to card making / sewing on paper.

I was given a Sew Crafty min but it seems to jam after just a few stitches. I wish someone could give me some advise.

Just a heads up that Spellbinders is doing a limited release of a stitching cover die with a matching sentiment add set. For sewers it looks very nice and versatile. Changing up the thread colors you could use it for anything. I cant get in right now to link you sorry.

ED: Ok I got it
