Is anyone else reluctant to buy these since Ranger has said they will not be making any reinkers for them? I have always bought a reinker for the ink pads I get.
I'm with Cinnistew. I am not buying a pad without a re-inker being available. I buy pads as more of an investment and not a throw-away item. My guess is that they will introduce a re-inker next year. Everyone seemed to love these new pads and they will be looking to be able to re-ink them eventually.
I never buy an inkpad without a reinker. I really don't understand Ranger's reasoning behind this. Especially for the distress inks, because at times I use the inks more than the pads.
ETA: I didn't realize these were going to be available for a limited time only. May be a good marketing ploy for the company, but I detest when companies do this. I'm a huge fan of Ranger products, but this leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

I agree! I too use the inks more than the pads. I would buy the reinker without the pad but not the pad without the reinker. I'm also a huge Ranger fan but just can't buy into this "limited edition" thing.
I like the colors and I'm waiting to get my set since Ranger is releasing a few more.
I never use reinkers. I have enough stuff and they just take up more space. I just buy new inkpads. So it doesn't really bother me at all that Rangers decided not to have reinkers for a limited edition set.

Where can we purchase the new Ranger Ink sets? I have loved these inks better than any other companies color inks...but like everybody else am disgruntled that I can't easily find them and there are no reinkers. I think these companies are getting really shrewd in how to come up with gimmicks to get us to buy more stuff....especially since so many are out of work. Thanks for your help....

i was on list to get a set @ Archivers (the ONLY LSS other than M or J) and got a phone call yesterday that they will NOT be receiving the fall set...): so I googled it and located them online but am not familiar with either vendor ... wondered if anyone @ splitcoast has ever ordered from Custom Crops or Your Memories Here? I am reluctant to purchase something online from a source I know nothing about - even with a credit card. Please email me @ [email protected] if you have any information about either of these sources. Thanks. Jane

:rolleyes: Ok.....gotta fess up! I just returned from a trip to the city and guess what I got? YUP, both sets! They had samples and I just had to have them. I still wish there were re-inkers though!!!
