There is another thread somewhere around about this. I got one last month and it is one of the BEST tools I have ever gotten...and I have a lot of stuff! Their website is a wonderful resource for projects as well. Two friends of mine visited last weekend and I got them hooked. They have ordered one too.

I have one, and yes, I really like using it! Another cool thing about it, is Scor-Pal has wonderful projects with measurements, and where to score already pre-planned and listed--you just cut your paper to the size they indicate, and follow the score measurements they give you, follow the directions, etc.--very cool!!!

There is also the scor-it tool to consider, I have one of these and simply adore mine, I like that on mine I can score at whatever mark I need to score at, and that I am not having to move my paper to get to a different score mark (like 1-13/16). This is especially helpful when doing nugget boxes and such.

This was in my email inbox today

The new SCOR-PAL arrived last week. Great lower price point than the Scor-it, similar functionality. We’re waiting for the MINI Scor-its to arrive at the end of the month too. Check out the Scor-Pal at www.franticstamper.com/tools.htm

Great service and product!

Thumbs up

Got mine a month or so ago and absolutely LOVE IT! No more moving the paper around, nice crisp scores. Ordered directly from www.scor-pal.com...try the Terrific Tape too. Heat resistant, you can even emboss it and sticks like a champ.

Just to weigh in on the Scor-Pal question... I have one and love it. It really is a fantastic tool and very easy to use.

And, as a further shock to me, Diana Crick (the inventor / creator of Scor-Pal), contacted me about a card on my blog and asked if she could feature it in her Scor-Pal gallery!!! I was so thrilled.

Thanks,
Lisa

I love mine. It makes multi-score projects really easy to complete.

Congratulations!!! Your card was lovely!! I can't decide if I should get the scor-pal or the mini scor-it......I've been pondering this for a while now!

Thank you SO much! It was really exciting, considering all the known stampers already posted!

Quite honestly, I hadn't researched the options before burchasing, but I don't regret it. I love how it works. I would imagine that your stamping space would more than likely dictate the product choice.

Thanks!
Lisa

Hi! I'm predominantly a card-maker too. I like to do some of the more interesting card folds that require starting with a 12" piece of cardstock. It works really well!

Thanks!
Lisa

just curious as to why the Scor-Pal is 20.00 less than the Scor It....is there a big difference between these two products?

I don't own the Scor-It--I've seen it, and it is a well-built, quality tool. I can't remember what it's made of, but there is a skid-proof mat on the surface.

The Scor-Pal is entirely of plastic, very lightweight.

I wouldn't venture to say that one is necessarily "better" than the other, but that it's more a matter of personal preference.

What I personally like about the Scor-Pal, is that it is very easy to do a variety of multi-score lines without actually having to move the paper, and, their website also features so many projects where the measurements on how to cut your paper, and which score lines to use have already been thought out, and indicated in the project instructions, making it a total no brainer.

Cut the paper like they say, score it like they say, and SHA-ZAAAM! I just love that!
