I'm looking for a scissors that will work for cutting around the detail on so many things. I've avoided paper piecing my stamps since my scissors doesn't leave a nice edge. Hope you understand what I'm trying to ask. Thanks for any help.
I rely on my Cutter Bee scissors and a small pair made by Fiskars. Both are sharp and cut well out to the edge. I tend to use the Fiskars pair for smaller items to be cut, but I'm pleased with both of them.

Phyllis, do you know which Fiskars? I'm thinking about ordering the micro-tip. I'm just not sre about the shape of the grip although it claims "Comfort-Grip". Thanks for your comment.
Good quality embroidery scissors, the ones with the curved blades, are preferred by a lot of decoupage artists. They have a very fine point and are very sharp.
If you do use them remember to cut with the curve toward the object, in other words, point away from the object. Always turn the artwork and keep the hand with the scissors stationary.

I love Cutterbee and Fiskars scissors. I have found many of them are 5" long such as my first Cutterbee and first Fiskars. I noticed a stamp designer using scisssors that were easier, she uses the Fiskars 4" scissors, way way easier on detail than the 5" counterparts.
I got my 4" Fiskars at Joann.com but their shipping is now the slowest on the internet.
tonic makes my favorite scissors. They have a spring, so you only squeeze to close them...they reopen for the next cut automatically. Fiskars makes a similar scissor. Not sure why, but I've done better keeping the Tonic sharp, than the Fiskar.
I use the Kai Gold scissors sold by TAC and love them. I have two sets one for my paper and one for cutting out stamps. I get great results for paper piecing and as a friend says, it cuts like butter on stamps
