another vote for the cutterbees!
i actually bought a second pair strictly for ribbon... just tied a piece of ribbon to the handle! just want to keep that pair REALLY sharp for a nice clean cut!
I have the teflon Cutterbees and I love them. I have a pair of Fiskars that are the same size as my Cutterbees, but I don't like them as well - they don't seem to cut as well at the tip of the blades. So, another vote for Cutterbees.

I did that, too, but they look suspiciously like the ones DH used for trimming the dogs' hair. Make sure you keep them well hidden!
I have a pair of the squishy handle Marvey ones (got them at a recent warehouse sale for only $3). I don't have any idea how much they are in real life. I like them very much. I have also used the small paper snips from SU (a friend let me borrow hers at a swap) and I thought they were awesome. They are super sharp and have an awesome tip.

I love the tonic spring-cut scissors. My hands get sore with regular scissors and they don't with these. Plus, the cut is great. Takes a little getting used to but one you do you'll love them.

I bought several student scissors from the dollar store. They are good for cardstock image cutting, find it's the way you learn to cut more than the scissors. God bless Lori Jacobs (Touch of Embossing) for teaching me! She was an awesome lady and we miss her at the shows.
I have several pairs of the Cutterbees, regular and teflon, and really like them alot because the cutting surface is sharp up to the point so you can really cut into a deep 'V' area. They come with a cover and I recommend remembering to use it because the point is so sharp. I know that EK Sucess makes SU punches; I don't know if the SU snips are by them but the Cutterbees are made by EK Sucess also. I have the Tonic spring loaded scissors which cut to the very tip also. If you are doing alot of cutting at one sitting they are the best. I was making a trifold card with daisy petals on the outside and made a mistake after cutting out enough daisy heads for 10 cards and had to redo and my hand was fine. Good luck finding the ones that work best for you.

OOOO this is a GREAT idea!
I too love the Cutterbees--so sharp, great for cutting in small places and you can't beat the price at WM!
I did same as MomisMama.. . bought a separate pair just for ribbon. A good decision for me. It was frustrating when I could not get a nice sharp cut on my ribbons.

I was a sewer before I was a papercrafter, so I know the importance of keeping your fabric sissors away from paper. My ribbon sissors are a pair of small Fiskars that are spring-loaded. I don't find them comfortable to use for any length of time, so I never grab them for paper.
