Hi! I live in Louisville also. I would look for the scallop punches everytime I went into Michael's, Dee's, Hobby Lobby, etc. I found the square scallop in Michael's one day and bought it. I finally broke down and ordered the circle and oval scallop mega's on line. (I don't usually do much shopping online.) I was so excited to have them. The ones I ordered online are the lever type punches, while the one I bought from Michael's is the old, pressure type. I would much rather have the lever type...so much easier. I ordered dirertly from uchida.com paying about 22.00 each. There was free shipping on orders over 40.00.
Let me know if you have any luck locally. I would like to get the miga's also.
Good luck!!!

Just a quick hello from just north of you in the southern Indiana part of the metro area. I haven't looked locally for them. They are hard to find online.
Maybe Archivers @ Oxmoor? I did see some big punches there on my last visit but wasn't on the search for scallops, yet. If you do find them locally, please post back. I'll do the same!

When I checked yesterday, joanns.com had the scalloped square . . . when you go to that site, put giga punch in the search box. You can keep checking back there, if they don't have the circles/ovals in stock now. It's a little bit of a chancey thing ordering from them. Sometimes the website says in stock, but it ends up being out of stock; and they don't notify you of that until days later. Just a thought . . .
I ordered Tuesday from Create for Less - online. They had some scalloped punches. Great thing is if they are out of stock you can sign up to get an e-mail when the item is back in stock. Here is the link: http://www.createforless.com
Good luck.

Would love to know if you find them as I am looking for one to buy for a door prize for a retreat. Actually, hey Louisville, Kentucky stampers (slight thread hijack) not sure if you venture into the Get Together Forum or not, but there is an amazing Stampin' & Pamperin' Retreat happening in Cincinnati, OH on April 27-28th with a big shoebox swap. Register by today and get entered in a drawing fora manicure at the Paragon hotel. This is going to be such a fun
mini-getaway and don't we all deserve this once in a while???
they cost a little more but the site does free shipping for any orders over $40 and I had wonderful service from them...
Also you can buy the AWESOME squishy scissors - they are the best scissors EVER - especially for cutting ribbon...I just ordered 6 pairs of them because I brought mine to a stampin night and everyone loved them so I bought a bunch to use as gifts for my stampin buddies B-days and such...

Thank you so much for the websites, I really appreciate the help. I have been looking for ever.
Are there any scrapping things going on in louisville? Any other retreats besides April 27th- I have a shower to go to that day.
Just went to one for CM begining of march. Looking for more.

Yes, it is chancy to order from Joanns online sometimes. One night I was so excited and thought I had scored the Giga circle scallop. When my package arrived, it had the mini-envelop punch in it, as well as 2 expensive light bulbs for Ott lights that I didn't even order.

i just ordered mine from the scrapbook market. It was on sale too! Its seems like alot of people were out of stock . I went to 3 other sites before I found them available.
I have not decided yet to buy any of the scalloped punches (I think they are so pretty, but haven't decided I "need" one), but from reading many threads, I find they are in high demand. I went on ebay to check it out and oh my goodness! The prices we will pay for this habit!
Good luck in your search!
