I am looking for a blog that has the tutorial on how to make a scallop straight edge using the scallop punch from stampin up. I have seen it but I can not remember which one now.
Can anyone help me
Thanks

Great tutorial. I have an idea, but I haven't tried it. First punch with the scallop punch, adhere the punched scallop with removable take to a piece of copy paper and then use a circle punch and punch out the center (need a circle punch that is close in size to the scallop). Then take the piece with the scalloped edge and clip anywhere on the circle's circumference and pull it out straight. You'll eliminate the cutting with the scissors. I'm going to try it to see if it works the same as I'm lazy and don't like trimming with scissors.

I read the first post and had to immediately go and try this. Then I decided to try using the circle punch instead of cutting. You are right, punch the circle first, this makes it easier to line up the scalloped punch. I used the largest SU circle punch. Works like a charm, I will show my stamp club this technique tonight.

You all are so clever, well you've made my work a lot easier! That's why I love this forum so much.

Try this idea but the other way around. Punch your circle first then align and punch your scallop. Way easier than taping it to a 2nd piece of paper and punching thru multiples. Kind of like the tag star idea...

just added another tutorial with the punches on my blog if you are interested. It is taking the prior technique using the scallop punch to create a scalloped border....well, now you can make a spiked-trim border as well...and starburst medallion.
Tried to access this at work, but our WebSense blocked me from getting to it. Is there anyway you can send me the directions for both the straight scalloped edge and the starburst one via an e-mail instead? [email protected]
