Rub Ons rubbing me the wrong way!

I am just now trying out my new SU rub ons. The darn things stick to everything. I cut out the image and when I am rubbing it on the paper slides around. Anyone have a little tip? I do love them. I hate to waste them!

I know some people cut out the image they are wanting to use from the rub on page and then apply the cut out rub-on image. does that make sense? I hope so. lol! HTH!

I find that if I let my hand rest on the paper while doing it, it slides around a lot. Also I find that when I rub too fast that happens.

I found that using repostionable tape to tape down the sheet before rubbing
helps. Then I can pick up one end and check if it is all down!

I love the SU rub-ons too and you are correct when you say they will stick to everything. I always cut the image out as well to eliminate the other images from grabbing everything they pass. I have found that if I rub one direction, going over the image two or three times, before I slowly lift the waxy paper away from the image I get the best results. Make sure your strokes are firm but not hard enough to create rub lines on your cardstock. When you are ready to remove the waxy paper start at one corner and work slowly across the image. This allows you to quickly see those stubborn pieces that are still hanging on and you can ease the waxy paper back down over the image, rub it another time or two and complete the transfer. Hope this helps you.

Compared to some rub ons I have used, the SU ones are great. I used some of the black Boho ones to decorate the white knobs on my makeup storage unit. It really dressed it up. They went on like a dream and do not move!

An adhesive remover (those that look like erasers) with "erase" them away too.

I just tried my SU! one's this weekend and LOVE THEM!!! I cut out what I wanted to use and did not have a problem with it sliding around. This may be a stupid question/comment but did you remove the wax paper?
