Does anyone have the new Round It All corner rounder punch by Zutter? If so, do you like it? I just saw it on the Zutter site and at Eclectic Paperie, but it is not in stock at EP. I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. There are 2 sizes, and it says that it punches through leather, tin, chipboard, and anything up to 1/8" thick!
I have one on order but it hasn't come in yet. The price is certainly right!
(I ordered a corner rounder used for id tags and it never came - in the meantime, the price went up about 40% - the company cancelled my order and told me to reorder but wouldn't honor the original price - so the price on this is excellent.)
I got the pink one about a month ago. Can't honestly say I am real happy with it. I also wish I had gotten the blue one and will buy a blue one when they come out. I think the thicker the paper the better it cuts. I have to do thinner paper several times to get what I consider a clean corner. But it might just be me, I haven't used corner rounders a whole lot. They have a lifetime warranty though so I might send it in. I actually wrote an email to the retail site a week or so ago about it and haven't gotten a response yet. I certainly wouldn't want someone to not get one because of this response but like I said I am not thrilled.
I went to a rubber stamp event this past weekend and the Marco's Paper booth was demo-ing the blue one. They didn't have any remaining at the show so I ordered one (actually, I won one of their door prizes - - a Scor-It, but I already had a Score-Pal, so they let me trade it for other merchandise of equal value). I couldn't believe how well it cut. They had a heavy piece of chipboard and it cut that. The price at the show was $19.99. I haven't checked their website to see what they charge on there, but you may want to. Their website is www.marcopaper.com.

I read on the website that if you are cutting thinner paper, like one photo at a time or something, you should back it first (or just put it behind the paper/photo) with some thicker cardboard or something. I guess it isn't meant to just do thin stuff by itself. Maybe that is why you were having problems with it. I don't have one but would like one.
Hi,
What's the difference between the blue and pink ones? We have the pink one in our store, but I haven't really looked at it. We also have the Paper Gater which is quite a bit more expensive, but again, I really haven't looked it over too well.
I used mine for the first time and the spring appears to be broken. I used it on 6 photos, so it wasn't the thickness issue. Mine is the pink one. It is like a regular punch that is stuck. Any ideas or help out there?
And by the way, I use my Zutter constanly. I love it! I make all my albums now.
I know! This is such a heavy duty punch, I wonder if I did something somehow. It feels as if the spring is broken? Maybe, mine is just one in a million?
Definitely beware of using your round it all on thin materials. I bought mine last December while we were visiting relatives in another part of the country. Of course I couldn't wait to try my new toy, but not even I pack chipboard when I go away (just in case I need it, you understand ), so I tried it on the nearest item to hand, the paper bag which it came in. Needless to say, the thing promptly jammed and my ever-resourceful DH got to play at unjamming it without any of his usual tools (he didn't pack his toolkit either - just in case he needed it....)
All OK now but I learned my lesson and won't use it on thin papers again.
I also frame art work, so i save the small pieces of leftover matting, and combine that with the thin paper, works well, I have the leftover matboard cut for inchies, ribbon "spools" etc
Have you ever seen the We R Memory Keepers' Corner Chomper? I bought mine at Scrapbooking Alley. (Free shipping and no sales tax.) It cuts both 1/2" and 1/4" and can cut paper, cardstock, leather, plastic, acrylic/poly, etc.
I have the pink one and I love it. I have been through so many corner rounders that have given out on me and this one is by far my most favorite and I think it is built to last. I have never had any trouble with the thin papers either. It is amazing.
Yes, I have tried a lot of corner rounders myself. I think that great big one was the corner chomper, but not really sure, I sold it on ebay. I had to downsize cuz I have teeny tiny apt now. I am very happy with my round it all for my scrapbooks. And I sure learned my lesson...do not punch anything thin! And with all of your help, I know what to do if it sticks...

Another vote for the Corner Chomper! Two sizes on one tool means less storage space taken up, and it's about the same price as one of the Zutter tools so you're effectively getting double for your money! Cuts through one sheet of cardstock just as cleanly as it cuts through chipboard, plastic etc - love mine!

I too have had trouble with mine. I had to return it twice because after the first use, it had no more "spring". When it works, it is awesome. I have had mine for 9 months and I think anything that expensive should not have a website to tell me how to take apart the tool and put it back together again. Mine was almost $30 and it should work everytime, in my opinion.
If i remember correctly the zutter punches have a lifetime warranty......... if yours doesnt work consistently, I would email and see about a new one. The corner chomper that i tried at the LSS just didnt leave a clean cut, which is why i went with zutter. I am sure the box said lifetime warranty.
I havent had a problem with thin sheets, but i love the way i can batch cut.
Also the Zutter punches are very small, took up less room combined than the CC did.
