Default refills for oxides

I am wondering about getting refills for the oxides. For those of you that are using them a lot, have you found the need to have them on hand?

TIA

Yes, I have the re-inkers for all colors I use the most, especially since they’re often used for covering backgrounds, which takes a lot more ink than regular stamping.

I’m not ordinarily a re-inker buyer.

Thanks for your reply. I had not thought of that, but of course, it does use up more ink to sponge. Thanks so much.

Well I don’t sponge but it’s probably similar in using tons-o-ink. Plus I smoosh it onto my mat to pick up with a wet brush or spray with water, and that also uses a lot of ink. Or even with full coverage stamps... But I use Oxides more than any other ink.

Yes, I have the refill for all the colors that I have and I have used them but I like a super juicy pad.

I’ve had mine a while and haven’t needed any refills yet.

I did buy the re-inkers with all of my Oxide Inks. I don't want to run out of ink, right? LOL I LOVE my Oxides ( I never got the regular distress inks) & haven't used them NEAR AS MUCH as I should, but they won't go dry with the re-inkers I have! I've heard, that the re-inkers don't keep as long, don't ask me why? But, I figure like the other ladies, you can use them without the ink pads too. I haven't needed to use them yet.

I have not purchased the re-inkers for Oxide Inks..have had my pads a while, I limited myself to get only 12 colors I thought I would use most. I don't use them weekly but they have held up well. I have not purchased the re-inkers for the Distress sets I have and they have also held up really well. I am not against having the re-inkers, but will not purchase until I feel they might need to be refreshed. You can receive the colors you might need quickly. One more thing not to store!!!

One of the large orders of Oxides that I bought was left on my porch all day in the August sun in Las Vegas, so they were already kind of dry when I opened them. I bought all of the refills for those and decided it would be wise to get the others, too, just in case. I'm VERY glad that I did! It seems that these pads will need re-inking more often than most pads, but I haven't really used them enough to say so.

I have not ordered re-inkers for my Oxide inks and have been really glad I didn't. I use them often, both for backgrounds and for stamping. I've not needed to reink anything...they really last a long time!
