Default Ranger Glossy Accents

Has anyone else had any problems with their Glossy Accents changing color in the bottle? I've had mine for about 6 months or so and noticed it has discolored in the bottle and when I used it, it doesn't dry clear......it's a yucky brown color. What do you suppose I did wrong? Caps on tight. not stored in front of a window or light. I'm perplexed. Wrote to Ranger.....no response. Help !

Any chance it froze??? Sounds like a chemical change. I'm surprised you didn't hear from Ranger; they have great customer service. I would try again.

Yes, mine yellowed a bit. I'm now using Diamond Glaze by JudiKins.

No, but that's probably because I can never get it out of the bottle!! LOL

I now use Pico clear irresistible embellisher. comes in a bottle with a super thin metal tip. it doesn't clog!!

I keep my Glossy Accents nozzle clear by using a ball-head straight pin instead of a cap. I never had a problem with color change until I replaced my straight pin with one that was not rust-proof. It rusted and contaminated the Glossy Accents, turning it a beige color. I use mine as an adhesive, not an embellishment, so that's not a problem for me. But now I'm very conscious about using ONLY rust-proof pins in the nozzle.

I think sometimes it yellows as it ages. Even though someone just buys a bottle it doesn't mean that bottle is new. It could have been an old bottle just now finding a home. But Melissa's idea that a rusted pin might be the culprit is something to consider too. I don't leave pins in mine, but I sometimes use them before I put my GA away after use.
