Default Ranger Blendable Archival Inks

Has anybody tried the Ranger/Wendy Vecchio Blendable Archival Inks? Archival Inks are my favorite for permanent waterproof inks. I've done ink blending with Distress Inks and Distress Oxides. I'm wondering how the new Blendables compare to the Distress, in terms of ease of use, colors blending. I know it's a totally different type of look and ink.

Wendy has two types of ink under the Ranger label: Blendable Dye Ink Pads OR Wendy Vecchi Archival Ink™ Pad.  The blendables were first introduced in 2018 - 12 colors to start, now there are 24.  The Archivals have the same waterproof property as the other Ranger Archival colors - 27 Wendy colors.

I just have the regular original ones. Are the blendable ones waterproof?

So, are you looking for blendable inks that dry permament? When I want that, I reach for my Versafine Clair ink pads.
