So glad I found this thread! Emily, your quilling is great! I have been looking for a frog pattern, and your frog cards will be very helpful. I teach a class of up to 5 ladies once a month and one of them has been begging for me to teach them quilling, but I have never done it, so I'd better learn. I just happened to find a great big bundle of quilling supplies at a garage sale for $15, and it included a book, but no frog pattern, and that is what she specifically asked for, so now I will be able to help her. That is, if I can manage to learn this myself!~

Somebody showed me how to quill back in the seventies!! I made a bunch of projects then and hadn't done it for a while. A couple years ago my DIL to be, asked if I would make their wedding announcements. I did several different layouts, one using quilled flowers. I saved it til last to show them because I knew it was going to be a ton of work. But once they saw it WOW! It took a long time and her mom found perfect boxes to send them in. I flew out to CA from TN and spent a week with my son and her to make them. We had a great time and it's a card nobody has ever forgotten. Quilling is awesome!

PJill, those wedding cards are marvelous! So glad you have a photo of them and also of the work in progress! It boggles my mind to think of all the work that went into them! Thanks so much for sharing!

o.k. back again; had computer issues! I wanted to make mention of another paper-craft and making snowflakes another way - with paper-cutting. I made these ones to hang by the front door at Christmastime (how-to article attached).
