Question QuikKutz Quick Stik...Just Purch'd but ONE question?

Hi All...I purch'd the QuicKutz "Quick Stik" recommended by a friend, who used it a LOT for picking up TINY!! pieces when she used her Cricut machine, and the pieces cut out were SO hard to pick up..(at least for ME and her).

The question I have (and I feel stupid asking!!) but it does NOT have any cap over the sticky tip that is exposed for picking up the tiny pieces..so basically it just sets on my desk "as is" and if it rolls one way or the other..YES it sticks to everything...hahaha

If anyone has one of these, did yours come with a TOP to cover that sticky end? And once the "sticky stuff" is used up, I'm guessing it is NOT refillable?
but than again..dunno??

Any comments MOST welcome..thanks..have a great evening. LOVE SCS!!!

Yes, it is supposed to come with a cap to cover the sticky end when not in use. I don't know of any refills for it, which is okay with me since I can use a 40% off coupon at my local Hobby Lobby to purchase another one when it's used up.

I purchased two (on line) and both had a cap. Nice to know about the refill issue. I was wondering myself. It is an excellent tool to have on hand.

That's strange that mine didn't have a cap, or maybe not ?? as I saw another comment that there's didn't either??? Thanks for the replies tho....possibly it got thrown out?? (accidentally) but don't think so as I even went through the trash to see if I had done so...:(

Would you mind passing on where you purch'd them (online) ?? as the one I got was at Michael's ? I believe ? when I went to visit my daughter before Xmas...we have NO craft stores anywhere near here except a Walmart, and I've looked there with NO luck. Would like to get another "spare" one. Thanks!!

Thanks ALL for your responses...and guess what?? I was picking up my craft room last evening and underneath the desk something caught my eye...the CAP to my QuicKutz Stik !!! SO Happy to have found it, and feel stupid now for posting a question, but I know if I have any questions, I can always go to SCS for great advice (and support)!!

Going to try for the 3rd time this weekend, the Faux Leather Wallet...LOVED the tutorial, but I had problems with my wallet cracking!! when I went to assemble and fold it etc...and couldn't get the magnets (to keep it closed up) to STICK to the slippery faux look paper...I tried glossy accents (T.Holtz's favorite) for INSTANT bonding, but I think I'm going to try a velcro tab? and see if that works. Wish me luck!!
