Question Quickutz Nesting Dies - Emboss?

Okay, I've seen a couple of places lately stating that the Quickutz Nesting dies can be used with an embossing mat to emboss (like Spellbinders Nestabilities) - however, I'd heard before that they DON'T work like Nesties (something about the edges not being even enough to give good results). Any of you gals have any input?

I have both (Spellbinders & Quickutz) and don't see a difference. The edges seem pretty even to me. I love using BOTH!!

When I use the Quickutz nesting dies in the BigKick without any embossing mat, I often get a raised edge around the outside of the cutout.

Not sure if it is meant to be there or not (haven't played around with trying different Tabs etc) but I kind of like it! It is definately not as obvious as the embossed edge that my friend gets with her Spellbinders and a tan mat.

Thanks for the input! I think I just might have to get some - their label dies look pretty cool.

I use all the dies the same way. Never had any problem with them. I use a cuttlebug.
