Has anyone been to a copic workshop at Archiver's? They show a video about how to use the markers rather than have a real person demo the markers. Just wondering if it would be worth a 2.5 hour drive to the workshop. Thanks!
I haven't been to it, but if they are just showing a video I might suggest viewing Suzanne Dean's video tutorials before making that drive. I hope this is helpful.
I took the Copic class from My Creative Classroom and learned so much! I printed the tutorials so I have those to review if I think I am getting rusty.
My friend took it and I had her demo to me what she learned - they just did basic coloring - not blending or understanding how to choose the right colors to get highlighting and shadowing... It was not a film - a real person actually taught the class.
All that being said - it's ALWAYS worth the drive to Archivers!

There are tons of videos on youtube on how to color with copics. I've taken the copic certification class with Marianne. I would not drive 2.5 hours to watch a video to learn how to do a craft.
