Default Q about Cuttlebug/SU

I have a Cuttlebug and just got the sizzix button template from SU and the SU embossing plates. How do I use these in my Cuttlebug? I would appreciate any advice you ladies may have!

I would just run them through the same as your Cuttlebug dies and folders. They are pretty much the same size I think.

Oh wait...embossing plates. Do you mean the texture plates or the embossing folder? The embossing folder (the Manhatten flower) is just like a Cuttlebug folder. The texture plates are different. For those you need the impressions pad and rubber pad (or the equivalent things in other brands, like the Big Impressions Starter Kit from Ellison).

The little button die is just like the CB dies.

Yeah, I meant the texture plates. How do I need to sandwich them? And the little buttons as well.

Default great question...

Wow....I was wondering the same thing. I'd love to have the SU embossing folders but not sure how they would work out in my cuttlebug and I don't want to buy the big shot. Thanks a bunch and Happy STAmping !!!

Here's a link to a great thread on cuttlebug sandwiches. There is a file attached to the first post that you can print out and keep with your bug.
