Default punches

Hi Ladies
I've got a SU punch that is not working properly and am just curious if there is something I can do to make it work? Thanks Teri

There are a few tricks to try. You can try putting it in the freezer for a while. You can try spraying it with WD40 (make sure all of the spray is out before you try punching your good cardstock!) But if the spring mechanism is actually broken inside you may be out of luck.

How long ago did you buy it? I would return it to your demo.

She says she bought it used, so I'm guessing that returning it to her demo won't help. :(

Stuck punches can sometimes be fixed by punching through a bunch of aluminum foil and/or waxed paper. The foil sharpens the bunch and the waxed paper sort of "oils" it. The freezer thing already mentioned is a nice trick, too...

Right...she said used. If it was new I would have suggested she return it as well.
