Sorry if this was mentioned before, but I would like this punch that makes an embossed flower like the primas. Does anyone know where I can get one in the US? Thanks!
I saw a similar thread on this subject within the last couple of months. I know that someone mentioned a web-site that was going to start carrying this punch and they gave the name of the site. At the risk of being horribly wrong, my memory tells me it was something like 7 College Kids website....I've never ordered from them, so I know I probably don't have the name exactly right. I'll skip off and see if I can find the original thread and come back with the correct info! ;):cool:
I haven't been able to find the original thread on this subject and I checked 7kidscollegefund and they weren't showing it as new or preorder. I'll keep looking for this. :confused:
as of about a month ago 7 kidscollegefund was planning to carry this punch.
So I didn't imagine this!!! Thanks for confirming I wasn't losing my memory. ;) I searched the 7kids website and wasn't able to find any info about this punch, maybe they weren't able to find a reliable supply source for the punch.

Okay, after some research I found that:
The punches are by a company/person called Nellie Snellen
It's only available for pre-order, the sites that I found are from the UK and Australia.
If you're desperate, you could try ordering from this site: http://www.stampsandmemories.co.uk(this is the main site) http://www.stampsandmemories.co.uk/i...s_id=3011(this one has the specific flower punches)
They ship to the US.

It's not supposed to be released till Jan 15, I read somewhere. I want it too. I think there are two sizes for layering.
Thanks Nyoka, it looks like Dandee Images has it already. Their shipping is quite high. I wish they would say what the actual size is of the flower. Maybe I can google for Nellie Snellen. I love her stencils too.

Also check paperwishes.com. Got the new catalog today and it had two different kind of embossing punches, several different styles.

I just got that catalog and saw the punches you are talking about. Very nice selection of punched/embossed flowerrs, I especially liked the 3 petal pansy punch.
Unfortunately, none of the flower punches I saw in Paper Wishes was the shape or style of the primas. BUT all of them were petal style punches so they would be easier to use. That is my only hesitation with the punches that make the primas, they are the old style that is hard to use and easy to jam. :confused:
I think the large flower is 3mm (approx 1 1/4") and the small is 2.5mm (approx 1"). I really like Prima flowers but having a punch(es) so you can always have the color you want would be so convenient. When I buy an assortment of Primas, I always have colors left over then go buy the same assortment with the same results.
Anyone know of any Canadian retailers. I went to the 7Kidscollegefund website and to have the 2 punches shipped to Canada would be $25.88. That's way too pricey for shipping.

I just purchased these two punches on-line and it was quite expensive but I figure as many flowers as I buy it will be well worth it. ($56.09) including shipping to Nebraska
Just talked to dandee images about my order... she said the punches haven't come in yet... I ordered on the 11th... wonder why they had them on the website to order if they hadn't gotten them in yet? Now I am worried about my order... anyone had any dealings with this company?

I haven't ordered from the company that you used, but can verify what she said about the punches not being in yet.
I just preordered from 7kidscollegefund and it says something to the effect that "retailers will not be receiving these punches until late January." If that is the case, yours will probably ship at that time.
It sounds like no one actually has them in stock right now. Too bad that company you ordered from did not make it clear if they did not have the punches in stock to ship out, but were pre-ordering them.

It was my understanding that the punches were a pre-order, and would not be available to ship until February. I bought 'em anyway, I'm willing to wait, they look SO cool, and I got in on 7Kids first (cheaper) offer, so I'm a happy camper. I've pre-ordered before from 7 kids. They ship as soon as they have the stock. Sometimes it's hard to be patient, though, lol!
Emerald Crafts in the UK have a few of the Nellie Snellen flower punches (but they're out of stock of the large flower punch at the moment) and they ship overseas.

I totally aggree. There's nothing worse than a jammed punch. The mere thought makes me cringe, lol, especially after spending so much for the punch to begin with. Before I received my Cuttlebug, I embossed my flowers exactly as the previous poster suggested, using a stylus and a old mouse pad. As a matter of fact, I still emboss my paper flowers in the same fashion if I don't want the whole flower embossed.

Sure, sure, keep posting UK sites, making me want MORE of their stuff than I already do.....I'm nuts for the Papermania stamps. Last trip to visit the in-laws, I dragged them & DH to the craft store as sightseeing expedition!
