Subbing means they are subscribing to the thread so they can see if any new posts are made without having to check every day. There is actually a better way to do it. I think it is under "thread tools" at the upper right corner of each thread.
Bumping means posting a comment (bump) with nothing new to say, but wanting to bump an older thread up into the "current" ones so maybe other people will see it and have something new to add. As you've noticed, the older a post is, the farther back it slips (from page 1 to 2,3,...25). Any new post bumps it to the top of the stack again.
Someone asked if the Nestabilities could be used. Yes, I use mine all the time....and love them due to the variety of sizes. With punches you are limited to the one size, unless you purchase various sizes.
As someone else said, the easiest way to subscribe to a thread to keep it for later is to go to "thread tools" at the upper right corner above the top post. You get a drop down menu and click on "subscribe to this thread". You'll even get email updates when someone posts a new message to the thread. You can manage your subscriptions by clicking on the "My Subscriptions" link in the box to the left of the top post on the page. Hope this helps.

Wow!! Such stunning and wonderfully creative cards here. Lots of goodies on that blog. Thanks for sharing it and thank you LeeAnn for sharing your talent with all of us!
I'm looking for an elephant. I saw the one with the straight trunk, but I also saw another one with a rounded trunk and it the ears were different than the other one I saw here on SCS.
I haven't seen (or done) a hornet - are you looking for a mascot type hornet or a realistic hornet? If you can give a little more info, I'll try to give you some help.
