PTI Stamper's Select CS

I just opened a new package of white CS and right away I noticed that the weight seemed "lighter" than what I am currently using. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it all just my imagination?

I love the PTI SS CS because the weight is great for card bases...good and sturdy.

I thought I noticed a difference in the weight of their cardstock with my last order (which was July 2010), but brushed it off as me just being crazy!

I agree with Kate, post in the PTI forum. Maybe someone can help you there.

This is not what I want to hear because I just got a new package of SS white in my last order (last month).

I compared a recent package (purchased January 2011) to a package purchased 2 years ago; I couldn't tell an appreciable difference in the two pieces of SS CS. Bear in mind, this is an individual result and may not generalize.

I've ordered 3 or 4 packages in the past 3 months, and they all have been the lovely heavy weight that PTI has always had. If you feel that it is really different, then send off an email to PTI customer service, keeping in mind that the lady who handles their customer service is in a different state. But she is a lovely person, and I'm sure will help as best she can.

Thanks for your input, ladies. A friend mentioned that she has had packs that didn't seem as heavy as others. Could be a "bad batch"?

Good idea about the PTI forum, but I don't hang around there. SCS keeps me plenty busy! ;)
