Default problems with stazon

Has anyone else had issues with stazon ink?? I bought the white with refill and cannot for the first part figure how to get the ink to go in smoothly like pigment ink and it dries out so fast- how long should the ink last with out drying out?!

Also, is stazon cleaner really the best or is there a cheaper basic out there??? It really stains...

The best cleaner I've found is Ultra Clean, made by Steward Superior.

I don't really like the white staz-on. Only use it if you are stamping on acetates or glass. Otherwise use the pigment inks or SU!'s craft white. I don't really have much advise the the white Staz-on, other than keep trying. Maybe put more ink in. I have gotten mine to work, I just don't like it.

I have to echo this. I don't like the white StazOn either. I found that you need to really ink up the pad well to get a decent impression. I have a hard time cleaning the stamps too; usually using a toothbrush and Simple Green to get them clean.

If you squeeze sufficent ink on to the pad and make sure you keep the clear lid on it as well as the container top, you shouldn't have to reink very often. I use it alot as well as the other colours, pink, mint, blue, mauve. I inked the pads easily 6 months ago and they are still stamping up fine. I love these pads and stamp on plastic gift bags, boxes as well as cards.

As the instructions say, tilt the bottle and as you are squeezing the ink out you work it into the pad using the bottle tip. The coloured ones are a little easier as you can see where you have inked but in good light you can tell the difference with the white one.

I am also having trouble with the Stazon white. It seems that the ink is so thick that it hard to use. I have to reink my pad after using it to stamp three or four times. Also, why do you have a refill when you purchase it and never have one with the other colors.
