Default Prismacolor tutorial somewhere?

I'm ready to finally use my new prismacolor pencils and I'm afraid to put pencil to image. I'm worried I'll mess it up. I bought the blending pencils too but I'm not sure how to use them. Does anyone know a link to a coloring tutorial?

I'm sorry! I'm sitting here LMAO...are you worried you are going to mess up a stamped image? Honey, you can always stamp it out again!

Actually, I don't know of a tutorial but check under steuber posts. I think she was talking about a class that was being offered on coloring. I just got some pencils as well and went with it. I absolutely love them. I didn't get the blender, I purchased the Mona Lisa Odorless Paint Thinner from Michaels. Here is my first creation using the pencils...

just start playing and have fun! Don't limit your creativity! GO FOR IT!

Here is a tutorial from Inky Antics on blending the prismas with Gamsol or odorless mineral spirits.

thanks! I knew I could count on you!
After I typed my message I knew it sounded ridiculous, to be worried about wrecking the image. But here is the stamp I'm using: Orchids, by Stamps Happen. It's huge, 4 inches square, and it's very intricate and took 3 tries to even get a good inked image.

There's no way I want to mess up the one good image I stamped.

Wow! That is quite an impressive undertaking! Best of luck!

You might want to try playing with smaller stamps first and experimenting with the colors and blending. That was the most challenging part for me. Some has more red tones than I wanted in my design so I had a piece of scratch white and just colored and blended to see what they looked liked "for real" as opposed to the barrel or tin description.
