Default Prima Watercolor Tropical vs Jane Davenport Brights

M's has a new product line - Jane Davenport and she has two new Petite Watercolors Bright and Neutrals. I was just wondering how they compare to Prima's watercolor. the Pan and the case are exactly the same as Prima's (IMO) but wanted to know how much different or similar the colors are. If anyone has both products or does a review, please let me know. if they are very close to the same colors, I will wind up just getting the Prima, since they cost less.

Thanks All!

IF I am not mistaken, The Frugal Crafter is doing a review on them on her you tube channel. Maybe she will say if they are the same or not. YOU could always ask in the comments, or over on her blog. I think she has the Prima ones as well.

The Frugal Crafter did just get the mermaid markers and loves them! I went to Michael's yesterday and had no luck. Out of stock. I called 2 other Michael's in my area and they didnt have them in stock either. I am anxious to try them out, especially if i have a coupon .

Hi, I have both and just did a review:https://thefrugalcrafter.wordpress.c...t-watercolors/ I find the quality to be very similar and many colors are the same but it comes down to what you want to paint. The neutrals have convience skin tones. The Brights all have cool undertones where you will also have some warmer tones and a brown in the prima tropicals. So it depends on what you want to paint. I think the JD sets are designed to work together and be more fashion colors and convience colors where the Prima tropicals offer more versatility in mixing (if you want to mix). Honestly they are all fun, pick the set with colors you think you will use.
