I don't know why I'm so confused about the BigShot.... Anyway, I have a Cuttlebug machine, a Sizzix machine, and a little sizzlet machine. I want to order the Pillow Box die #113466 , and I'm wondering which machine I will use it in. I prefer the CB, but I don't know if the die will fit. Can you help? Also, do I really need the crease pad? thanks!
I don't know about the different machines, but I don't think you'd need the premium crease pad for the pillow box in the BS. I thought the score lines were just fine without it. When I tried it with the crease pad, it didin't cut out the box as well, although maybe I didn't have the sandwich right.
baweinstein2004.......The pillow box die will fit in your Cuttlebug. As far as using the crease pad. In my opinion, I don't feel it's necessary. The score lines for folding will still be visible.
I have the crease pad but don't use it. I had purchased it before ever trying to run a die through that suggested it. The crease pad will just make the score lines easier to see, but in my opinion, they are clear enough to see.
It's a matter of opinion, so you may want to try it and see for yourself.
It depends on what weight paper or cardstock you are using. I used SU cardstock to cut the pillow die in my Big Shot and by using the crease pad I received much more defined creases. It sure made it easier to crease the curved ends.
