I'm a demo but have never used the Perfect Layers tool. Have a customer asking questions about it. Is it useful or worth the money? Any info or opinion would be helpful. Thanks, Kellie
I have one that is non-SU! When I remember to use it, it is great. However, I don't always rember to pull it out. The cards I have used it on look way better. If she will remember to use it, I think it is a worthwhile investment. If, like me, she forgets about it, I would say, don't spend the money.
I have it and it took me a little bit to get the hang of it but I love how it makes my layers *perfect*. I'm usually ok at eyeballing things but this is great for making sure that everything is perfectly matted.

I like mine and used it when I first got it but I haven't really used it since. I will have to pull it out and try to use more. There is a little lip where you "catch" the edge of your paper. You have to press down with a little bit of pressure to make sure it doesn't move when you are cutting. I found with the heavier (SU) card stock you have to go over your cut again. I think it is worth the investment if you really like staright layers. I know some people said they bought it before SU came out with it but I haven't been able to find it anywhere else in the last year. Hope that helps.
I have it and love it. At first it seems cumbersome (is that a word) but now I use for all my layers. Just remember to keep a sharp blade in your knife.
I use it every day, on most cards with layers. It isn't fool proof, but there are 8 sizes of layers to choose from- works great for me! I guess you have to feel pretty confident with an exacto knife, and have a mat to cut on, too.
