Default Peppermint essential oil??

I saw a recipe for peppermint sugar scrub in a paper crafting magazine and thought I would do this for Christmas gifts. I assumed I could find peppermint oil at Hobby Lobby, but no such luck. Any other suggestions?

BTW, I plan to put these in pretty glass jars from Hobby Lobby with a pretty handmade tag, just in case you're thinking this is off topic. hehe.

Check out any health food store. They have essential oils of all kinds. If you don't have one near you, there are tons of places online to buy them.

you can make a wonderful foot saok too
all you need are:
epsom salts
peppermint ess oil (or any scent you like)
glycerin( have to ask pharmacist for it now)
food color

pour the container of epsom into a large mixing bowl you use for non food projects
add a few drops of oil, a teaspoon or two of glycerin, couple drops coloring and mix well.

makes good bath salts too

Thanks, Ladies!!!

I wouldn't have thought of a health store. We have several in our town, so that's where I'll look. I was just thinking of craft stores and was totally stumped when I couldn't find the "flavor" I wanted.

I have NO IDEA which magazine. Isn't that a shame? I looked at several mags when I was at a local book store with attached coffee shop killing an hour while my daughter was at piano. So sorry!!! The recipe was easy enough that I remember it, though:

Peppermint sugar scrub

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup olive oil
10 drops peppermint oil

It had a pretty label, and I thought I would copy it using my Cricut and xyron. I thought I would tie a pretty bow with tulle. I also found some frosted candy cane ornaments at HL, and thought I would tie that up with the bow as well. HL had their glass jars 50% off last week, so I scored on my very first try, so I was thrilled!

Wal-Mart or your grocery store. IT is with the candy making supplies. A little goes a long way.
