pearl ex and hairspray

HI,
I just saw a product that was used in scrapbooking called glitter mist. I was wondering if anyone knows of this product. If not... here's my question...is perlex and hairspray (shimmer spray) safe for scrapbooking? I would not be putting it ON my photos, but just using it on cardstock.

PS what is this glitter mist made from? It was described as a dye based ink with what appeared to be a pearl ex sheen to it.

Don't know if I would trust hairspray in a scrapbook. I'm not the expert around here though. Greater minds than mine can tell you if it's OK or not, and why.

Noticed you were from Manitoba, where abouts? I'm in winkler and know some Wilson's. Just thought there might be a relation.

I was more worried about the pearl ex. I wonder what a photo safe medium would be that we could mix pearl ex into to make it photo safe, for use in scrapbooks. ANYONE?

I wonder if you could mix the Pearl Ex with GASS (Gum Arabic, alcohol and distilled water) and use it this way?

Gass is approved for archival and sealiing both!
