Default Packages for card sets

I want to sell cards and card sets this fall and need some ideas for nice ways to package them. Maybe boxes or clear envelopes or zip lock bags. I could either make something or find a source to buy something. It would be easier to buy them but need a souce that would'nt be too expensive. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Default card packaging

I get my clear boxes at californiapapergoods and have been very pleased..they are VERY sturdy. I have also sold mine in wicker purses I have picked up at the dollar store during the summer...a clear box costs about .50 so its not that much more for a nice presentation.

The site doesn't say what the size of the box is. Could you let me know about that? Also, is there a company where I can buy clear sleeves for single cards?

Several, actually! My personal favorite is clearbags.com since they have sizes to fit both single cards with an envelope as well as sets of 6, 8, or even 10!

www.clearbags.com I have been using this company myself for about 10 years now. cant beat the prices and shipping. I noticed that it is cheaper to in quanity not only for each pack of product but also for shipping cost. Kinda odd I thought, my last order I put in 10 packs of 100 and the shipping was $12 but when I added that 11th pack of 100 the shipping went down to $8. huh? If you get overwhelmed just call them they have been real helpful finding what i'm looking for And no I don't work for the company.

You can also get the clear boxes from a girl here on SCS, Heidi (pinkhedgehog). She has an online store and I have purchased her boxes to do my Christmas card sets that I sell. I fit 10 card and envelopes in each box easily, and her prices are VERY reasonable. You can check it out Here, she also sells the bags as well. She has really good products and customer service is the best.

Thanks for all your help in finding a source for this. I don't know what I would do without you all and this site. I've got some good ideas now. I just have to get busy and stamp.

Another source is www.papertreyink.com - they sell clear boxes - these hold standard A2 size cards.

Another thing I do is sell smaller 5 x 3.5 notecard sets. In order to package those I buy jewelry box boxes from www.papermart.com and then just take out the cotton. I can fit 10 cards and envies in one of these. To close up the boxes I bought the gold cording that you will see around gift boxes (also at papermart).

Sometimes having a variety of sizes is nice at shows.

I love to make cards but quite honestly don't know what to do with all of them and have thought about trying to sell them but don't know where to look to do so. What about pricing? How do you display them in the bags? Envelopes behind the card? Thanks for your guidance. Betty
