Hello! I have been looking at the new colours for Stampin' Up online and it is hard to tell the differences. I was wondering if anyone either has the paper or has seen it next to other colours. Pictures are always good!!
The ones I am wondering are:
Concord Grape in comparison with Perfect Plum, Lovely Lilac & Elegant Eggplant
Pear Pizzazz in comparision with Sage Sadow & Melow Moss
Tangerine Tango in comparison with Groovy Guava & Cameo Coral
I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday!

I am not sure I am the most qualified to reply, because I am not very good with photography. But I have all the colors so I will give it a try. I haven't ever tried to attach a picture on a thread before, so I am going to start with the purples and if it works I'll do the other two.
Here are two pictures of the purples. The first is in this order
Concord Crush, Perfect Plum, Lovely Lilac, Elegant Eggplant, Rich Razzleberry
and the second is
Concord Crush, Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Lovely Lilac, Rich Razzleberry
I took the 2nd to show Elegant Eggplant next to Concord Crush because it is the closest match, although CC is significantly more blue.
Well, that seems to have worked, so now I will do greens. The greens are in the following order bottom to top.
Certainly Celery, Pear Pizzazz, Melow Moss, Sage Sadow, Wild Wasabi, Old Olive
I added Certainly Celery even though you didn't ask for it, because I think it is very close to Pear Pizzazz. Also I added a couple of other current greens. The one that looks blue is actually Sage Shadow, I didn't get it confused. It just looks very blue next to the others. There are two pictures, but both are in the same order, but with a little different lighting.
And here are the oranges. I added Pumpkin Pie because it is another current orange. I also added Dusty Durango which is one of last years In Colors. I think it is close to Tangerine Tango, just a shade darker.
The colors in these pictures are in the following order.
Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, Groovy Guava & Cameo Coral, Dusty Durango
They are both in that order, the two pictures just have different lighting.
I could send you a small sample of each if that would help.
Tango is NOTHING like groovy or coral
Concord is rich thick deep purple total opposite of plum which is muted or lilac which is clear and clean.
Pear is much more yellow green than moss or sage which seems grayer, dulller more muted and sage looks to have a more blue tinge to it
Personally I love the new colors, much richer, more saturated than the old ones. I was ready for a change. But thats just me.
PM me if you would like a small piece of each for comparison.

Thanks Carolyn!
(and thanks to you to Treena for your pm)
Carolyn - I LOVE my cardstock/ink collection. I have all the colors that SU considered current until June (48colors+6neutrals), the colors they retired in '04 or '05 (8 of them), all the past in colors (24 total) , the new core colors (6) and the new In Colors (5). That totals up to 97 as far as I can tell. And I still love and use them all!
Thanks so much for adding the link Diana! I always wonder if the info is already here somewhere. I'm not sure if I am happy for the pictures though - as now I think I need all the new colours of paper! And I'm sure I will need to ink too!!!
I use all the colours of CS that I have. I find the doing to inpiration card challenges have been seeking out colours of the items I am inspired by. I also try to challenge myself to use a colour if I know I haven't in a while.
Thanks everyone for you help! What a great place to come to ask questions and share.
