I, too, have the score-pal and LOVE it, but I am math challenged and have longed for the additional score lines. I found MS score board at M's thought it was 25% off but the cashier said it wasn't so I used a 40% coupon. I must say I love the MS one. Love all the score lines.

I did alot of playing with it last night - and ....just WOW! The envelope maker is wonderful, the cutting/scoring measurements are right at my fingertips. I just love this thing. When I got mine at Michaels yesterday there were only 2 left. So either they didnt get many in to begin with, or they are flyin off the shelves already.

You might want to have him shop early for this one, and then hide it away until Christmas. You just never know if things sell out how quickly they can re-stock them. And this is Michaels we're talking about sooooool.......;)

I really hope that SU puts something like the Scor-Pal in the next catalog. It really is something that we need and I know that my customers would all buy one. I have a SP but the MS one sounds so much better. Hmmm.....

Good advice! I just called the Michael's that I usually shop at (we don't have one in my town :() and the person I talked to was kind enough to go and check the shelves for me. There was a tag in place for the board but nothing was in there; she also checked the computer and they only have 3 on order and they could arrive at any time. Basically, if you aren't there when they put them out, chances are you won't get one. Ever get the feeling that they intentionally underproduce items just to create a desire on the part of the public to have them?

My Michaels didn't have it yesterday. Today when I went after work, it was there!!! Had to buy one with my 45% coupon, making it only $11.00. What a deal!!!

Okay I went 'window shopping' at Mike's today and found the scoring tablet. I like it a lot! I had been saving for a Scor Pal, but I think I'll get this instead. And the kids are always asking what I'd like for Christmas and they're all students with no money, so with a coupon, this could be a very economical Christmas gift and I'd be sure to like it! So I think I'll be patient and wait . . .

You didn't mention that they have all sorts of colors of micro beads now and two new types of glitter! The glitter looks really cool, but I have to think of a project I'd use it on to decide on a color before buying it.

I happened to be in my Mike's yesterday after church, and found they had all the MS stuff on sale 25%, plus I had a 15% off my entire purchase that was good from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - so I got a ton of the new MS stuff 40% off!! I got that new scoring board and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!

Oh just went to my Michaels and they are just starting to open boxes. There is now a whole aisle dedicated to MS---lots of pegs with tags so it should be soon. I was so wanting this today---perhaps tomorrow. But I was a good girl and didn't buy anything else while I was in there---amazing for me!!

WooHoo............went to my Mike's today and got it!!!! I have a Scor-Pal and love it, but I like the idea of the continuous 1/8" scores! When I got there my store had two left and I got one of them! Also got the "Eyelet Lace" Punch Around The Page and it's really pretty!!! They also had all their clear stamps on 40% off and I picked up a couple of Christmas sets. The MS stuff was 25% off and I used my 45% coupon on a "Non-Stick Craft Sheet"...........it was a good shopping day!

someone else posted they found out their store only got three. That must be true of most stores. I drove to ours today about an hour away...they only had three. They had lots of new things by MS. In fact they were still putting up a lot. I found the score board and then bought the double scallop punches. I got both 50% off from my reciets for last week. The point being...grab that sucker if you find it. I don't know how often Michaels orders.

Have two Michaels within eighteen miles --- neither has much in the MS line. Scimpy punch supplies etc. I have asked for items several times and fine they either don't know what I'm talking about or don't seem interested in obtaining the products. Have been trying to find a score-pal (or equivalient) for a couple months to no avail. I wish there was a "good" Michaels in the area. Anyone else know of one in the Denver metro area. I am southwest of Denver.

I can't wait to get this! I'm glad I waited on getting the Scor-Pal as the MS version sounds so much better and it's more reasonable.

Also, I have about 20-25 MS punches and love them.

I got mine today & I just love it! i have been on a strict budget for the last 6 months so I haven't been able to get a ScorPal. A friend of mine was going to get it for me for Christmas, but now I don't need one. I got a coupon with my purchase last week, so I got my board for $10. I was ready to buy it with the 25% off sale, but several MS products don't seem to be included in the sale, so be sure to give it a try. I have a very nice Michaels withing minutes of my house & this was the last one on the peg. I brought it right home & played. I really like it. The envelope maker is nice. I will no longer need my enveloper, boxmaker & mini scor-it. I may still need some of the features on my Crafters Companion, but we'll see. I really like the envelope tool because it makes perfect grid background papers. Plus, it just slides into the bottom of the tool. I'm sure the ScorPal is a great tool, but this one seems just as nice for a fifth of the price when I included not paying s&h and the fact that I was able to use a coupon. Plus, I got to pick it up & take it right home with me. No waiting! Can't beat that. JIL

Default MS Scoring board

Ya know, the Scorepal has been on my list of wants for quite awhile, and I've held off buying it, a bit pricey, but I really wanted it. Well now I am so glad I waited, because this one will be perfect. Michaels her I come...

oooh, and flock in all sorts of colors...not that I 'flock alot' but the jars sure do look pretty all lined up in a row at the store...lol.

This new scoring tablet looks great! I have a scor pal, so I don't know if I'll buy this, but looks like a lot of thought was put into it with the envelope template and storage of those items...wow.

I saw some neat punches too last time I was at M's...now to become independently wealthy...lol

Yes the scoring board is in Canada. Seen it at a Michaels in Alberta. They have it priced at $29.99.

I just stumbled on this post - and am so excited! I have wanted to get a SP - but kept putting it off due to the cost. Now I'll have to look for the MS - even without the coupon it will be a great item to purchase!

I picked one up today for a friend who has been wanting the Scor-Pal but always forgets to put it on her birthday and Christmas wish lists for her husband. She is hosting a Girl's Night Out this Friday and I figured instead of bringing food, I'd bring her the MS scoring board as a hostess gift. I hope she is surprised.

Considering the price ($12.71 after coupon and tax), I may go back to Michael's and get one for myself, even though I already have the Scor-Pal. I like that the MS version has the 1/8" intervals all the way across, plus the envelope template looks fun.

Sounds exciting. Will need to see if we have it here in NY.
