I read on a blog that Paris Hilton will be introducing her new line of scrapbooking and craft items at CHA. It is called the "Creative Collection". That's pretty original. She will be there signing autographs. Oh my!
Please tell me your joking!!!
This I gotta see roflol, shall be interesting to see her 'Creative Collection'....NOT lol!
I'm really not nasty but this is the funniest thing I've read for a long time and the sad part is it's true lol :p
Thanks for sharing and for the giggle!
Take Care XX
LOL!! That's funny. I agree with phunkymama - must be a lot of pink, blingy stuff, oh and stick people stickers perhaps! Sorry, don't mean to be so nasty either but it's so funny.
OMG - that is the funniest thing I have heard in ages! Paris and scrapbooking?! I mean really, can you imagine her sitting down and using ink and glue - it might get on her fingers and clothes?! Shock horror..... ;)
LOL what???? Maybe it is a joke. She doesnt scrap herself and if she did she'd have one of her people do it for her. I can't wait to see if this is true.
I read about this on the Perez Hilton website and it had a link to the CHA website saying that she would she would be there. Here is what was posted on Perez's site
When it comes to business, Paris Hilton is certainly craftyliterally!
"At the Craft & Hobby Association 2009 Winter Convention & Trade Show in Anaheim later this month, Miss Hilton will be unveiling her own line of craft kits called "Paris Hilton, the Creative Collection."
Yes, really.
The collection is touted as "a multi-faceted line of fashion crafting kits from some of the most popular craft segments including scrapbooking, jewelry making and fabric embellishment."
Paris will be on hand January 25th for an hour between 2 and 3:00 for photos and autographs, of course!"
I am interested in seeing what she is putting out, but my guess would be pink and blingy also
Well, then we know, as scrappers and stampers, we're HOT! Truly, if she is getting into this area, then she must see some potential growth. OR, she just needs the money.
Okay.... my bad.... Actually Paris probably has a great sense of style and is very in tune with the tween crowd. I expect this line will do fairly well with that demographic.
This reminds me of the craft stuff I looked at for my 8 yr old granddaughter for christmas. They were Hannah Montannah & High School Musical themed jewelry, "tatoo" and scrapbook kits. The scrapbook kits were mostly paper, markers and stickers with some glitter and bling added in. They were definately not geared to serious scrapbookers.
Tell your DD, she's right. LOL I thought this was a joke. I know she's an opportunist, but this is very disturbing...considering why she became notorious. In all honesty, I'd rather spend $1000 to give to charity than a penny to her. There's a reason why her own grandparents took her inheritance to give to charity. Good for them.

The links are other products put out by the company, not Paris' line.
When I first heard I literally LOL!!! However, you know I will stop by to check it out! And my LSS owner wants a picture. He really likes her!!! Oh dear.

Blech. I would not let my daughter use anything created or endorsed by Paris Hilton. Luckily, she is only two and this Paris venture will be over and forgotten in a year or two if not sooner.
I am with Niki, I wouldn't buy it for my kids. I don't like who she is. It reminds me of when Madonna decided to be a children's book author. It was very out of character with how she got famous and what her values were known to be.
I looked through some sites to see samples but saw nothing yet. One site had some funny things to say that can't be repeated here except for one line:
"Now that she is out that $2 mill in jewelry, maybe she has to bead her own!"

It is true. I posted the official CHA press release on my blog here. It will be a crafting kit - the mass produced kind I am guessing. She will be there to sign autographs for 1 hour.
Off topic, but I will be reporting at CHA this year and am so excited
