Is anyone having problems creating with the new In-Colors? I just can't seem to get my colors right. Does anyone have samples of what is going good together? Has there been any color combination challenges using the new In-Colors?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I keep returning to the old In-Colors and really need to push myself to the new!!
Thanks!!
I have had less trouble than I thought, actually. At first I didn't like the colors.. No I cannot get enough of Pink P.. it looks AWESOME with Brown or Choc. chip.
There is a lady on here that has a su color combo site. You pick a color and it will give you color matches people have entered. Maybe someone can help with her name. I have the site in my favorites, but do not know how to link to here.
I wasn't sure about the new in-colors for this year either when I first got samples of the cardstock. But then I got to looking at the samples in the new catty and I am really starting to like the possibilites. Check out pages 9, 10 and 13 for some combos. Then also look on pages 168 to 175 at the designer series paper. Even if you didn't want to purchase any of the paper, you can see the color combos that they used to create them.
I did make a card with kiwi kiss, baja blue and pacific point. You can see it here.
I'm still trying to work with them, too. I miss the old ones. However, from the samples I've seen, they work better if you mix them with other color families instead of the in colors! Good luck!

I'm finding this is to be true also. I sat last night really looking at the catalog and found that not to many of the card used more the two of the In-Colors. Most of them used one or two and then other colors from other families!!
I should have a new card up in my gallery this evening that uses Baja Breeze with Not Quite Navy and Mellow Moss, and has Naturals White as the card base -- love how it turned out! The most recent upload in there is a card made with Baja Breeze (yes, again!) and Close to Cocoa.

I've been taking cues from the Designer Papers - I really love Urban Garden, so I've been pairing Baja Breeze with Not Quite Navy and Kiwi Kiss. Also, there's a tan color in that DSP that basically looks like River Rock, and that color looks good in there too.
