Has anyone seen these? I picked up a few bags in Kmart yesterday..They are for Valentine's Day...the bag has the girl green M&M on the front, and it says green is the new color of love on the front of the bag...I won't use them for Valentine's Day, but I thought an altered frap bottle with green m&m's and gold wrapped almond hersheytkisses would look really great for St, Patty's Day!!

OOOOOhhhhh Keri, thanks for the 'head's up'!!!! I'll have to check for them. My K-Mart is closing, so I'll have to check elsewhere, but now I know what to look for. Thanks, again!!!!
Oh thanks for letting me know!
Green is my daughter's favorite color, and St Patty's Day is DH's favorite holiday, so I will be looking for these bags.
Well when I was in High School (back in the 80's) You gave green M&M's to someone to say you liked them. Or that's what I was told. But later someone said that eating them made you well, searching for a family friendly word, let's say Amorous.
Funny that all these years later M&M would put out an all green bag. Maybe I'll buy some for my DH!!

I guess you had to be there-the 80s I mean!! My first thought was about green M&M's making you "amorous" for lack of a better word! Maybe those of you giving them to your teenagers had better rethink! You might give them to someone who KNOWS what green M&Ms do and you might be sending quite a message!

I'm with you!! I mean, in High School in the 80's!!! That's what it meant!!
Very cool idea in the frap bottles..........maybe I'll actually make my first one.........dh's family are all Irish!!!
You mean to tell me the green ones don't make you "amorous"? My husband tells me they do make you feel that way, and always offers to give me his! Glad you all filled me in on the real deal! I always thought he was up to something...if you know what I mean! HAHA

I told my husband about these and he seemed very interested for some reason - now I guess I know why! We checked at Walmart and Target today, though, and neither had them.
LOL! I'm cracking up because green m&m's are the thing right now. There are t-shirts, antenna toppers...remember, the green m&m is the sexy lady one! Even the New York Times had a little write up! LOL! I do remember the 80's and still think that the green ones signal ... lovin'!

I wonder if they will carry these year round or just for Valentine's day. You could make "Grinch Pills" with them if they were around at Christmas time.
I actually found a bag of all green ones on clearance after Christmas. The bag didn't have "Greenie" or whatever her name is on it, but the whole 8 oz bag cost me only $.75 so I thought that was a good deal.
Thanks for the "green" info.
I'm a teacher so I'm thinking I could use these somehow with my students when we study our recycle-reuse unit: "Going Green"
Or, I could make up little packs of green M&Ms with a gold topper for "Go Packers"!
So glad that I'm not the only one who remembers how green M&M's make you feel. I think my hubby thought I lost my mind when I LOL at the ad in the Target paper. Tee Hee
