I cant figure it out.. where do you buy magnetic tape?
I'm not sure how to store mine.. I want something small but that I can travel with
I get the tape and small sheets at Walmart. They stick them by the pompoms and misc craft stuff. Usually on a peg hook hanging up. I don't know the price of the tape, but the 5x8 sheets (2 in a pack) is around 2.15 a pack.
I have seen it in the Oriental Trading Company by the sheet (8.5 x 11) and it's a good price, just haven't put in a order with them first.
The above is a lot better price, being less then $1 a sheet, and much larger then what I'm getting. I really need to put in an order with this company.

I store all of my nestabilities in these great mini boxes from Univenture. They are great, they snap close so you don't have to worry about losing any. Work for me, plus you can decorate the boxes. They have a outer sleeve.
The magnetic I bought from Magnetic Valley - 6" Wide x 25' Long Roll of Adhesive Magnet 20 mil for $34.99.
The binder sheets are from Gina K - $2.95 for a set of 4
The cases are from Univenture - A5 - 3 Ring Case View Binder (32mm) - Clear @ $3.74 each or less if you buy in bulk.
I store all of my nestabilities and un-mounted stamps in these cases. So easy if you go to crops.
I like it. Being able to store 40 spellbinder dies in a space that is only 7" x 9 1/2" x 1 1/2" is great. You don't have to worry about them falling out. You can decorate the outside. Plus they also work for your un-mount stamps.
My Nestie Storage. I got the box at walmart for $6. Make my tabbed cards and laminate them. Magnet also bought at Walmart. I think it is 2.15 per pack, 2 sheets of 5x8 or 5x7 sheets.
Where in Wal-mart did you find the magnet sheets? I have looked and can't find them.

Very nice! I think this is the way I am going to go! How did you find the sizes to put on the tabs? I don't think the sizes are on the packages...

I have seen these boxes at WM and never thought to use them for Nestie storage. Thanks so much for the idea.
I'm going to Walmart tomorrow to make my storage unit too, but I'm adding a pocket on the back of each divider so I can put a sample cut of each of the dies. Sometimes I misjudge what one might look like nested inside another. This way, I can pull out the samples and fit them and see before I waste my precious paper! Thanks Penny!
I have a lot of nesties, all but two of the Marianne Designs sets, a lot of the Joy! Craft dies and a lot of the Nellie Snellen dies and found the best way to store them was in portfolios I got at WM. I glued the manetic vent covers to the insides of the portfolio, magnet side up. I found that I can store a lot of them on each side, keeping the sets together and don't have to look through a lot of CD cases to find a design. I put my Christmas dies in one, the MD's in another, the Joy! Crafts in another, the NS in another and some of the nesties in another. To keep them from touching when the portfolio is closed, I taped two of the vent filters together, side by side, to cover the width of the closed portfolio, and put in between the front and back. BTW, all of these items were from WM.
There are a couple of places in the UK that I order from: Bunny Zoe's Crafts and The Art of Craft. I find that Bunny Zoe's is the fastest in delivery. I believe Ecstasy Crafts also has some of them. They are in Canada and the US.
I bought 81/2 by 11 magnetic sheets and put them in a zip binder with a handle for easy access and travel ...
I do this with my tech tuesday and other clear stamps makes it so easy to transport and find things ...i put the smaller ones in see through pencil cases ....I find the notebooks all the time at garage sales for 50 cents or a dollar ....
both ideas keep me organized and ready to scrap at home or away
Hi all,
I have found that a $6.00 large recipe type box from a staples or office supply store fits my magnetic sheets I get from the dollar store( sticky back.. Photo magnets... Dollerama) very well. I keep the original folder ( cardboard they cone in) I then cut magnet to size and place or stick.... As you like.... Inside the cardboard. I then add them both together into the box. I use a file marker.... So I can label what's behind it... Circles, squares, flowers, labels Etc. It has been very easy to find what I need and it's a great storage case. The longer cardboard I need to cut down a little but never to lose the words or directions. Just don't forget to pick up the manila label cards! All my g/f's have used this method on seeing mine! Will try to post pics when able.
Happy crafting!
Hugs,
Victoria )
I use the large size Cropper Hopper Zip N Flip. I put the Nestabilities on magnetic vent cover material cut to fit and then slide them in the zip N flip pouch.
