Default Nestabilities Question

Okay, I've finally decided to get a Cuttlebug and start collecting Nestabilities and I'm confused about something I'm reading on ucutathome's website. It says the large scalloped square starts at 4 inches and scales down at a quarter inch from there, and that the small scalloped square starts at 3.75 inches and scales down at a quarter inch from there. So wouldn't 5 of the dies be duplicated - i.e., you would only be getting the largest die from the large set and the smallest die from the small set as unique items. I'm guessing this isn't right because then why would people buy the classic sets? It seems like a waste of money. Any enlightenment you can provide would be very helpful because I'm trying to decide what to buy and I can't figure out the difference between the two.

I own them, both the small and large sets, and they aren't the same. There is a 1/8" difference between sets and within a set, they step down by 1/4".

There is some good information on Nicohl Heady's blog:

After reading the info on the blog I think I've decided that I want BOTH large and small. (But of course, that's nothing new....LOL! )

I am confused too. What is the difference between the classic & petite circles or scallops. And what is the difference between large and small circles/scallops? Thanks
