Question Nestabilities ?

Where can I purchase Nestabilities? I don't have a Hobby Lobby near me and none of my craft stores carry them. Your help is appreciated!

They are available lots of places online. If you search through the posts you can see lots of options. Some places have them pretty cheap with a coupon, but shipping is kind of expensive, and sometimes takes a long time.

I ordered mine from Overstock.com. They have them for $19.99 per set ($24.99 retail), and shipping is only $1 for your whole order this weekend. They ship really fast.

Here's a link:

Cristy, since we're having our little conversation to ourselves here this morning ...

Wanted to tell you that if you use them with a Cuttlebug, you will need a tan mat from Wizards, or a plumbers gasket mat from a hardware store or Home Depot in order to emboss with Nesties. You can cut with them with just the Cuttlebug plates, but need the mat to emboss.

GinaK has a lot of great info on her blog about using Nesties in the Cuttlebug. Here's a link to that:

http://blog.ginakdesigns.com/2008/03...cuttlebug.aspx

Have fun!

That's a good deal at Overstock.com

If you are a FREE SHIPPING CLUB Member at Joann.com, they are selling the Nestabilities right now for $18.74. To be eligible, you place 3 orders of $35 each, then you get free shipping for the rest of the year. I place these 3 orders in January, so I can enjoy the free shipping for 12 months. What's good about it is that you get to double dip savings when they have the discount coupons.

You can use the discount coupons and get free shipping at the same time. I've bought a lot of stuff with the 40-50-60% coupons with free shipping. However, there are some items that are "exempt" from the discount coupons. So what I do is just wait for those items to go on sale, then buy other stuff with the coupon, and get free shipping.

By the way, don't forget to create an account and log in when you do your first 3 purchases of $35 each. So they can track all three purchases to the same email address.

I hope I explain it well

I've been a FREE SHIPPING CLUB member for at least 3 years now, even back when we were stationed in Japan, and I have never had any problems. I have saved a lot on shipping with Joann.com for an entire year (make that 3 years).

I wanted to order from Overstock.com, but every time I check, they don't have the one set that I need yet - the large scalloped square! Bummer!

If I'm not a Free Shipping Club member at Joann's I'll be buying my Nesties in Overstock.com. That is really a good deal for the Nesties

Sorry to hear about your bad experience.... I guess it's just a risk you'll have to take like any other.

I ordered mine from Overstock.com and they got here in 3 days! Wanted to let you know too, that I didn't order the tan mat (forgot). So, I cut a glue pad I got from my LSS to fit the shape of the B plate from the Cuttlebug and just use that for embossing. It works great!!!

This online store has most of the shapes in stock and their's are also $19.99 per set. Haven't checked to see what their shipping is though. She has gotten lots of good feedback here on SCS.

I'll vouch for this website. I've ordered from them before and I like their system. You get shipping for orders $75 and above. They also have the new Nesties on pre-order for $19.99.

Newbie alert, i see from the overstock.com post these are some sort of die? Does that mean they're cutter templates or something? How much is the 'unit' that these dies go into? Thanks!

I get mine from [email protected] Sign up for their VIP coupon and get 40% off one nestie set. I pretty order 1 set per month using the coupon and since then have collected them all (except for the hearts.) Marcie, the owner, is a gem. A pretty good deal...price after discount plus shipping is around $57. Shipping is fast as long as the set if in stock, which I believe all of them are right now, including the ribbon tags trio, etc., Good luck and let us know which ones you're getting in!!!

Take a look at GinaK's blog to see the Cuttlebug and the Nesties dies. The link is in the post above yours.

The Cuttlebug is an embossing/die cutting machine. It is pretty reasonably priced, and you can get it at Michaels, Joann's or Hobby Lobby with a coupon. Mine cost about $45 with a coupon. And lots of places online have it on sale from time to time.

And, of course, SU! is carrying the BigShot now, which I coincidentally had just received in the mail one week before they announced it. I LOVE it!!!!
I got mine from HallmarkScrapbook for $67, including shipping. I like it better than the CB, it's a bit sturdier, and it can handle bigger dies, too... The CB people have done a better job with embossing folders, though, so I like the cuttlebug folders/dies in the big shot machine, if that makes sense...

Sorry, I wasn't very clear without quoting anything ;-). The BigShot cuts/emobsses the nestabilities fabulously!

This is where I got mine too. They shipped fast and best of all is that
40% off VIP coupon that you get just for signing up for their e-mails.

I've gotten all of my Nestabilities from Cut at Home. They have the best price by far. I wasn't in a hurry to get any of them so I bought one full set every month with my 40% off coupon.

I'm also a member of the Free Shipping Club at Joann.com. I agree that they have terrible customer service. You're lucky if they answer e-mails. Definitely better to call them. The past two years I had to contact them to have them add me to the Free Shipping Club because they didn't do it automatically. I have saved a TON of money with it though. I don't buy anything there unless it's on sale and I use 40% and 50% off coupons with every order. Love it!

I also got my BS at Hallmark Scrapbook. Love it. I order a lot of nesties from overstock.com. I love the free shipping weekends that they seem to have pretty often. there is not a minimum purchase to get the free shipping either!
Blessings.

Thanks for the ucut@home suggestion. I've been waiting for over a month for PaperTrey to get the 4-piece square nestabilities in. Finally sent an email 2 weeks ago to their Customer Service since their shopping cart said to contact them for the availability.

Got a quick return email stating they'd answer within 72 hours (I'm assuming business days). When I hadn't heard a word 10 days later, I finally sent my original message back asking when I could get an estimate as to when they'd be available.

Got a long message basically saying I should sign up for their weekly availability email. I get that email already and it states when something gets back in stock but gives no estimate when other products should be available.

I finally gave up. Checked out ucut@home and found PaperTrey's 20% off for a set a 4 really isn't a deal after all. According to to ucut@home, the 4-piece set retails at $85.00 to start with. When I used the August coupon, I bought a set of 4 plus one Cuttlebug Christmas folder that's hard to find plus some rivets - all for $68.00. I would have spent $12 more with PaperTrey and who knows how long I would have waited to get them.

ucut@home had them in stock and shipped them out the same day.

I would recommend them anytime!
