I am the proud owner of a Big Shot and most of my dies are Nestabilities. However, I have a question--isn't that why most people use this board?
I like to use a lot of computer clip art instead of stamping. So most of my pictures are pre-printed before they go to the Big Shot. My problem is centering the picture on the cut out. I may get it centered, but as it is getting ready to go through the cut out procedure the die moves a little. Is there away to do this and making the cut right where I want it. I know this is a clear as mud, but I hope somebody knows what I am trying to say. Thanks in advance.
I find this happens sometimes to me. You have to hold those two pieces of acrylic cutting pads tightly and feed straight. The other think you could do is place the rubber embossing mat on one and that gives a little more texture to hold the paper still. It is sometimes and PITA *** but when it works it is good.

I sometimes take a 2 teeny pieces of tape, and tape the die in place (a piece on the die - taping to the scrap part which will be left over) This ensures it stays in place when it goes through
I use a strip of Scotch Removable Tape to hold the paper in place. It works every time.
I lay the image I want to cut out face up, then I lay the die face down and center it over the image. I place a couple of pieces of tape over the die on to the paper, place it cutting side up on your cutting platform (this is how its done with the Epic) and crank it through you die cutter. Since the tape wont be cut, you can use it several times.
I learned this from Susan from Scrapyland.
Tape here too.
I have some removable tape which even works for dry-embossed frames, it just rubs off afterwards. But I save it for that, as I don't know where I got it, and just use any low-tack tape when I'm cutting a shape with an image on it.
I also use repositionable scotch tape in 1 little piece. It holds the paper and die in place and then peels off without any problem. I also had to do some experimenting when I purchased my first Nestie due to stamping first and cutting second and it never seemed to stay in place and I did use the tan embossing mat but it still moved a little. This is the best solution I have found and I am almost sure I read about this solution somewhere on this MB/forum.
Good Luck and Enjoy your new Toy!
I have used the sticky bits of post it notes, which I tear. The raggedy edge does not give a tiny line emboss like I get with tape, if I have to tape on a 'good' piece, kwim?
I have used repositionable Scotch tape for at least the last year. Love it! Even with the magnetic mat, you sometimes just need the tape! I usually stamp first and then die cut so tape is essential.
I just use 2 teeny weeny bits of regular Scotch tape to hold the die to the back of the CS. Works fine.
