Whenever I use my Fiskars trimmer, the cut measurements always seem to be slightly off. Either a little to long or a little too short. What am I doing wrong?
How does everyone get accurate cuts with this trimmer? Should I line the paper up right over the line, just to the right of left of the line?
I would love to know how everyone lines up their CS to cut with this trimmer!
Fiskars trimmers can be a bit off. The best advice that I have for you is to not push too hard you can cause the plastic to bend and cut unevenly. As for the line I usually place it straight on.
I had a Fiskars trimmer that was a bit off square and I finally got so frustrated that I called Fiskars! They have EXCELLENT customer service and they gave me a brand new one at no charge! I had already owned the old one for 18 months and had no receipt!
I got tired of this issue and got a new trimmer! I got the making memories one that folds up and I love it. There are lots of threads about trimmers if you do a search over on tool and product talk!
